Unintended Betrayal

I was walking to the coffee house to meet Lucas but when i got there i looked at the entrance and saw Lucas with a girl?
I stopped where i was just to see what would happen if he knew i wan't there. He held he hand. Omg he did that to me before he kissed me. I can't watch this.
I just text him saying
'Can't make it my friend needs me. Sorry.' And i looked round one more time to see him look at his phone and grab her by the hand and brought her inside!
I was so hurt! I ran to my car and drove home.

When i got home i met Mavis on the way home. And she was sad about something too. So we decided to have some drinks and sleep it off at my flat, like a sleepover sort of.

Mavis sat down on the sofa and i brought us 2 beers.
"So why are you sad?" I asked
"Lets start with you first, you are the one who was crying." She replied.
"Well i caught Lucas with another girl."
"What! Thats horrible! You guys...did it!"
"I know! But i guess it didn't mean as much to him as it did me." And i started crying again.

Mavis weirdly hugged me and comforted me. It was actually very helpful some of the things she told me.
"Now your turn, why are you so sad?" I asked her.
"This is hard for me to admit to you, but..." she paused.
"I'm gay." She sighed. Tears started to fill her eyes and before they had the chance to fall on her cheek i said.
"Thats okay! Look me and the others, we are not going to look at you any differently, we love Mavis no matter who she loves."
"Thank you. You are the first one i have said those words to, including myself."
"I am touched." I said and she laughed at me.
"It's my parents. They're going to kill me."
"No they won't, you are their child they will love you no matter what!"
"Its not that easy."
"Well if you want i can be there with you."
"That would be great. Thank you for looking at me the same as you did 5 minutes ago."
I nodded and handed her another beer.
She smiled and tilted her beer to say thank you.

Later on we were both wasted as per usual. But this time when she was getting up to leave triped over my shoe and landed on top of me.

It was a bit awkward at first. Then she looked at me and me being drunk me i kissed her. The kiss started getting a bit heated.
We kept our clothes on though, nothing happened. We just had this heated make out session for 10 minutes. No biggy.
Until we fell asleep on top of each other and woke up the next morning regreting life itself.
No biggy.
The worst part was later on in the week i found out that was Lucas' sister and her fiancé dumped her after 5 years so she was devestated. Whoops!
