January is a single mom who works as a personal shopper at Lord & Taylor in New York City. Being a personal shopper is not what January saw in her future, but after the death of her husband Jack, she had to find a way to provide for her autistic son Bennett. When January comes face to face with the odd and mysterious Jessup Blake she quickly figures out that her life will never be the same.
January and her son Bennett are no match for Jessup's dominate personality.
