Sunday July 7
On our long drive back to the city and real life, I look back on the wonderful, magical and too short weekend at the farm.
Being able to hear Bennett laugh was by far the highlight of the whole trip, and having pictures to look at for the rest of my life is beyond exciting. But Saturday was just as memorable. Jessup took Benny fishing on the docks at the lake, while I sat on a blanket in the grass and watched. It was the cutest thing to see Jessup with Benny. Before Jessup even let Benny on the dock, he made him put on a life vest in case Benny fell into the water. Seeing how gentle and caring Jessup was with my son made my heart swell with joy and happiness. Never once did he get aggravated with Benny or raise his voice at him.
When Benny reeled in his first fish, I think Jessup was more proud than I was. Bennett got so excited about catching his first fish that he dropped his fishing rod into the lake when he jumped up in Jessup's arms.
I had always wished that Bennett's father Jack could be here to do these things with him. To have that father/son bonding time. I thought that Bennett would never get the chance to experience fishing, along with a lot of other things but Jessup is making sure that Benny gets to do the things a boy his age would do with his father. When Jessup looks at Bennett you can see the love he has for my son in his eyes and all over his face.
Every night that we were at the farm Jessup made sure he didn't miss out on tucking Bennett into bed, and would help Benny say his prayers after he would tell him a story that he made up off the top of his head.We didn't get to have our picnic because all Bennett wanted to do was ride King Moon Dance, and I didn't mind one bit because Benny would laugh and smile the whole time. I still can't believe that Jessup bought my son a horse or the fact that a photographer followed us all weekend.
The photographers name was Samuel by the way and he said that he would have the pictures ready in a few days. I can't wait to see them, I just know that they are going to be amazing. Not only did Benny and Jessup bond but so did Julie and Nick. Friday night when Jessup and I were sneaking back in the house after our hott sex on the porch, we caught Julie and Nick trying to sneak out. I guess her bossiness grew on him because he was glued to her side all weekend with her barking orders at him. But he didn't seem to mind and it looks like won't be our only house guest because Nick informed Jessup that he is planning on staying at my place with Julie as long as Jessup was going to be staying with me. Good lord I am now going to know what it's like for Jessup to run a sex hotel because that's exactly what my tiny apartment is going to be like.
If people keep moving in with me then I might have to start looking for a bigger place to live. Five people living in a small three bedroom two bath apartment is going to be a nightmare.
I just might tell Jessup that we are going to move this big ass sleep over to his penthouse. Ok maybe not because there is no way in hell I am taking my eight year old son to a sex hotel where everyone walks around practically naked. Nope that's soooo not happening. But Jessup did say that he still wanted me, Benny and Julie to move in with him. At the time I didn't really want to have that conversation again but I also didn't know about Nick staying at my house either. If Jessup brings it up again and I know he will then I'll tell him if he finds somewhere else to live then I just might think about it. I mean come on the man has to know that I won't let my son live at the Dark Horse, right? Hell who knows, men are clueless.Bennett is asleep in the back of the RV and Julie is in her co pilot seat beside of Nick. Which means that me and Mr. Muscled Hottness is cuddling on one of the couches while he watches sports and answers emails on his phone. Jessup left his phone off and in the RV the whole weekend because he said he didn't want anything to interfere with his family time. Now how cute is that. But anyways I know he much have an ass load of emails to go through and phone calls to make but instead of finishing his work, he wraps his arms around me and kisses the top of my head which pulls me out of my thoughts.
