General's Apprentice

After Ventress left Shak for himself Shak decided to leave the planet and go on to a crystal cave located on Dantooine were he would find the crystals he needed for a new lightsaber.

The journey was hard and confusing, but whenhe had his new crystals he took some pieces that he had collected and began to make his new lightsaber, when he ended he looked at it and grabbed it, it was exactly as he wanted it, it was two lightsabers joined together by a really strong magneticall atraction that when both touch each other they join making a double sided blade, the colors of each blade were crimson and green, the blades had a "L" shape(imagine Kylo Ren's lightsaber but with only one of the two side blades), the handle was completely black and almost no cable was exposed. After he had made his lightsaber he got back to his ship and went to Mandalore to try to find out where Maul has gone but he only found himself with lots of ships attempting to take him down so he had to leave before the damage was more critical, so he went to Serenno where he thought he could fool Dooku or any other side that resided there. When he arrived he found General Griveous around in Dooku's castle, Shak approached him, Grievous looked at him curiously as he aproached, Shak stand on one of knees and extended his hand with his lightsaber on it, then he started to praise Grievous about his great ability with the lightsaber and his great commanding capability, Shak slowly started to seduce Grievous with the only purpose to make him teach Shak how to duel formidably with the lightsaber,  Grievous denied him, grab him by the neck and threw him away, calling the magnaguards to deal with him. When they arrive Shak took out his lightsaber and fight against them, he slowly was barely able to beat the three of the guards, Grievous starred at him looking at his potential as a sith, then thought of the possibilities of having him in his army, so he promised to teach him to use the lightsaber as a real warrior, but when the time comes, Count Dooku would teach him on the ways of the dark side, Shak agreed, but in his head he denied the dark side training and started to think of what he would do when the time for Dooku to teach him comes.
After that, Grievous took Shak to his command ship and left to deep space back to his castle at Vassek, there General Grievous kept him for a long time, teaching him all about dueling with a lightsaber and so on, he gave Shak some sith robes also to get on and his own magnaguards. over time, Grievous took Shaak to many battles and thanks to him some were won and some were loose.

Back in Coruscant, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine senses that there is something going on with Grievous, he feels as Shak grows stronger and wiser, Palpatine knows that he is going to give probems, so he immediately contacts Dooku to be aware that he should not train Shak and kill him instead at the first moment. Grievous was training a menace for the separatist and all th sith.

After all the years that have passed(calculating now like near 3 years before Grievous captures the Chancellor) Grievous prepares Shak for going to Dooku for his trainning on the dark side, before arriving Grievous gifts Shak a cape of a sith, he knew that after being Dooku's new apprentice, he would become a Lord sith, Shak had already created a bound of admiraton for Grievous but Grievous was still a cold militar General. Meanwhile they arriving to Serreno, Dooku was waiting there on his palace ready to confront what his master called a menace for the sith.
