You have to accept the reality you live in. You will get hurt, used, and lied to but that helps you distinguish the good among the world that is full of liars, scammers, and heart-breakers. It is never your mistake to treat others heartwarmingly but it is your mistake to think that refraining from doing so is the right solution. The ones who do not treat you well deserve to be killed with your kindness.
