I'm sorry this took awhile, I was at my friend's Saturday and I has a lot of crap to turn in, projects, essays, etc. I'm also sorry if this chapter felt a little rushed, since I was on the bus and I really had to use the bathroom, and I also had a headache from math class. Anyways, enjoy!
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.
Naruto jumped from tree branch to tree branch, chakra gathered at the balls of his feet. He was sniffing the air for Kakashi's scent or Kurama's scent, trying to find them. Naruto sudden stopped as he heard a familiar yip nearby, his chakra fox ears swirling towards the east and his chakra tail twitching. He turned his body towards east and was off, nothing more than a blur to even someone with a sharigian eye.
"Kurama!" Naruto cried out in relief once he spotted the little fox tumbling through some bushes. He quickly caught the kit before the young one could damage himself anymore, there was tears in the fox's coat and leaves were caught in his fur. "Are you okay?"
Naruto crouched down and inspected Kurama, taking note of all the small wounds. He let out a breath of relief once he saw that there was nothing major and it just small cuts from trees and bushes. Kurama suddenly nudged his head against Naruto's palm and jerked his head back from where he came. Frowning lightly, Naruto followed the young kit to a clearing.
"What is it, Kurama?" Naruto asked, feeling antsy and wanting to look for his lover. Naruto felt a wave of dread once again hit him when Kurama visibly looked confused and kept twirling around, looking for something.
Naruto suddenly caught whiff of a strange scent, one that he had only encountered before, ANBU. He growled low in his throat, his chakra tail and ears flattening. No doubt about it, anbu had taken Kakashi. Picking Kurama up and placing him in his bag, Naruto raced off to where he smelled the anbu.
'Please be careful, Kakashi,' Naruto thought, increasing his pace to as fast as he could run.
With Kakashi
Sasuke stood in front of Kakashi with a smug smirk, a dark feeling radiating off the man. The anbu in the room visibly flinched and backed away from the man, obviously not wanting to be near him.
"Well, if it isn't Kakashi," Sasuke spoke, slowly circling the bound man, making everyone uncomfortable. "I'm still surprised that you ran away. But it was expected. You did love Naruto, did you not?"
Kakashi visibly froze, but he wasn't too surprised. After all, he did leave right after Naruto, so they would be connected someway or another. Kakashi didn't want Sasuke to hurt the younger male, though.
"What do you want?" Kakashi growled lowly, feeling fear build up in his chest. It was obvious really, what the man wanted.
"What do I want?" Sasuke scoffed, stopping in front of the man and leaning in. "No, no. What do you want?"
Kakashi narrowed his visible eye and frowned, what did he want? He already had all he wanted, Naruto's love, Kurama, enough power to protect his precious ones, he was content. It hit Kakashi full force and he looked at his ex-student carefully.
"Nothing," Kakashi replied, now curious as to why Sasuke even asked.
"Nothing?" Sasuke's eyebrows rose at the answer he recieved, not believing the bound man one bit. "That's impossible. Nothing? Absolutely nothing? There's still more at there! The power to become a Demi-god! The power to become a God!"
"And what after that?!" Kakashi spat at the man, feeling more than a little angry. "What's after becoming a God? Huh! Power isn't everything! What's the point in becoming a God if you outlive all the friends? There's nothing left!"
Sasuke leaned back and seemed to think it over, his eyes slowly coming back to normal. Kakashi was transfixed by the black eyes staring back at him, full of an unreadable emotion and sadness.
"Help...me..." Sasuke barely managed to utter those two words before his body was taken over again. Something wasn't right.
Kakashi's eyes snapped close and opened again, wondering if he was hallucinating. He looked at Sasuke and saw that the man was slightly out of breath, barely noticeable pants of breath coming from him. What was that? Sasuke suddenly straightened, his earlier sense of fatigue gone.
"Tsk, so what?" Sasuke asked, answering his earlier question. "I don't need friends! Power is all I need."
Kakashi shifted uncomfortably, feeling more than nervous. He had a bad feeling that Sasuke was in deeper shit than himself and he let the other obviously possessed man rant and grumble.
"See if you can get anything out of him," Sasuke finally turned to one of the anbu and jerked his thumb at Kakashi. "I have a feeling he knows where Naruto is."
Kakashi's heart plummeted. What did that thing want with Naruto? Sasuke walked out of the room and the anbu all turned to him, an apologize in their eyes. These were older anbu members, ones that knew him personally or ones that probably respected him.
"We're sorry," An anbu whispered, bowing his head in shame. "We'll make it painless."
A sharp pinch of pain went through Kakashi's body and he was once again swallowed by the inky black darkness.
Ok, that's it! I hope you enjoyed, because this took awhile to write since I kept spacing out. Well, ciao my beloved readers and fellow writers!
