Chapter 6 - A New Day

Connor's POV:

I open my eyes and find myself curled into Brad's side and his arm is wrapped around me. I lay still for a little bit until I hear Brad's snoring die down. I lift my head up slowly and Brad's lifts up in unison, he smiles a little 'morning beautiful'. I blush and look down 'morning Bear'. I straighten myself up so that my head is now on the pillow and not his chest. He stares into my eyes and I stare back into his eyes, he bites his lip nervously 'you ok Koala?'. I shrug my shoulders 'don't know really'. 

Brad's arm lifts up and he places his hand on my shoulder and rubs it slowly, the room goes awkwardly quiet. The door knocks disrupting the silence and Brad lifts his head up and turns it round to face the door 'who is it?'. There is no answer until a nervous voice speaks up 'Joe'. Brad sighs and places his head back down on the pillow 'come in'. The door opens slowly 'listen, I'm really sorry for yesterday'. Brad takes a deep breath 'its ok, I suppose'. Joe looks down 'I know you haven't properly forgiven me, but I need to tell you both something'. 

Brad lifts his head up and looks at Joe 'whats that?'. Joe closes his eyes 'you've got a radio interview later today'. 'Just me?' Brad asks and Joe bites his lip 'and Connor'. I look at Joe worried and shake my head nervously. Brad looks at me and pulls me into a hug 'its ok Koala, even I don't want to do it. But I promise you they won't hurt you this time'. 

Joe steps forward towards us 'I won't either Con'. I cuddle towards Brad and bury my head in his neck as a tear slips down my cheek 'I don't want to go' I whisper. Brad's arms slide around my waist and he pulls me into the hug impossibly closer. 'P-please don't make me go' I plead and Joe looks down 'I'm sorry Con'. Brad turns his head to face Joe 'Joe, please try not to organise interviews without letting us know'. Joe rolls his eyes 'Brad, even you know that its my job to organise interviews'. 'You usually let us know before you fully organise it though' Brad snaps back and I squeeze my eyes shut.

Tristan's POV:

I nervously make my way to James's room and knock on the door, the door opens and James is standing there shirtless half asleep. 'Tris?' he asks surprised and I feel my eyes starting to water a little 'James, as weird as this sounds. I'm a little scared'. James looks at me worried 'whats up?'. Shouting starts to emerge from Brads room and we both look in that direction. I look back at James and a tear rolls down my cheek 'why are they arguing again?'. 

James sighs and steps to the side letting me into the room 'as bad as this sounds, we might just have to let them argue to get their feelings out to each other'. I nod slowly and James pulls me into a hug 'come on now, take a deep breath. Everything will be ok in the end, I promise'. I rest my head on his shoulder 'pinky promise?'. We separate from the hug and I hold out my pinky, James smiles 'I pinky promise'. 

James sits down on the bed and sighs 'what do you wanna do?'. I shrug my shoulder and sit down on the bed next to him, James smiles 'can I see a picture of her yet?'. I look at James nervously and smile a little 'erm...... sure'. Inside I am mentally screaming at myself, what the hell am I going to do!?!?!?

I unlock my phone and James smiles a little, I load up my photos and look for a photo of me and James together. I bite my lip as I come to a photo of me and James from back before Connor was even in The Vamps. I close my eyes and turn the phone towards James. I hear him laugh 'I think you've pressed on the wrong photo, thats one of me and you together'. I open my eyes nervously and smile a little before it goes. James laugh turns to a serious look and he raises an eyebrow 'wait, Tristan?'.

I look at James nervously and see that he is thinking about what I have just shown him, he takes a deep breath 'Tristan, do you fancy me?'. I pause for a little bit, how should I answer this question? I look at James and see that he has a serious face this time. I close my eyes, take a deep breath and nod slowly. 

Joe's POV:

'You know what, I give up trying to co-operate with you Brad. All you're going to do is shout back at me when I'm trying to make amends' I say, very annoyed. Brad rolls his eyes 'it takes 2 to argue and just leave please'. I see Brad turn his attention back to Connor who is now snuggled up to his chest. I look at the floor and leave the room, closing the door behind. I walk down the landing and down the stairs so that I am now in the living room. 

I hear the door knock and I cautiously look out the window and see someone familiar at the door. I make my way to the door and smile as I open it 'hello, its good to see you again. Please come in'.

Connor's POV:

Brad rests his head back down on the pillow and stares into my eyes 'I'm sorry for arguing with Joe Con, I can't help it though. He really annoyed me yesterday'. I nod slowly 'i-its ok Brad'. Brad sighs and we lay in silence for a few seconds until Joe shouts 'boys, we have a visitor'. Brad rolls his eyes 'this had better be a visitor'. I nod slowly as Brad climbs out of the bed and puts a shirt on. I climb out of the bed next and Brad wraps an arm around my shoulders as we exit the room. 

On our way to the stairs, we head to James's room and knock on the door. The door opens and Tristan pops his head round and me and Brad look at him in shock 'erm... hi Tris, is James in there too?'. Tristan nods and smiles as he pushes the door open as wide as it can to reveal James. James smiles 'is everything ok?'. Brad nods 'Joe says there is a visitor for us all'. Tristan nods 'we know, we heard'. Brad nods slowly and I snuggle into his side closer. 

'Are erm... are you and Joe ok?' James asks worried and I shrug my shoulders 'I don't know anymore'. James slips a shirt on and exits the room with Tristan. We all slowly make our way to the top of the stairs and James goes first, followed by Tristan and finally followed by me and Brad. Once James gets to the bottom of the stairs, he smiles and stops. Tristan also does the same. When me and Brad arrive at the bottom of the stairs, Brad smiles 'hello there mate, its great to see you'.
