Chapter 13 - Jonnors Prank

Connor's POV:

As Kung Fu Panda 3 plays on, I notice all the boys drifting off to sleep. I glance at Brad and see that he's just about to nod off. I bury my head into his neck and I feel his arms tighten around me, keeping me safe. I feel Brad's head move above mine and I feel him peck the top of my head before whispering "love you Koala". I smile a little as I hear his breathing becoming more and more steady. 

I lift my head up slowly and see Brad fast asleep, I peek behind me and see Tristan and James snuggled up together, fast asleep. Carefully, I stand up and attempt not to wake anyone. Once I'm up, I look back at the boys and they're still fast asleep. I sneak over to the DVD player and eject the disk, putting it back in its casing. 

A phone vibrates on the table making me jump and I drop the DVD case. I pick up the phone and it's James receiving a phone call from Joe. I answer the phone whispering "hello?". As I'm walking into the kitchen, Joe responds 'Con? Is everything going ok?'. I smile and turn the kitchen light on. "Yeah, they've all fallen asleep," I say, I glance over at the window and panic as the curtains are open and its dark outside. 

Rushing over, I close the curtains as Joe responds 'are you ok though Con?'. I nod slowly "yeah, just can't sleep". Joe sighs 'are you awake on your own?'. "I am, but..... I'll be ok" I say nervously and Joe takes a deep breath 'ok, I trust you. Just promise you'll wake one of them up if you need something'. "I promise Joe," I say whilst glancing back into the living room. 

I hear someone say something in the background and Joe says something back to them, 'Con, I've got to go. Surgery is just about to start'. I respond to Joe "ok, tell Dean good luck". 'I will, see you later Con' Joe says before putting the phone down. 

"Con?" I hear someone say behind me and I jump, I turn around and see James rubbing his eyes "you ok?". I nod slowly "yeah, just can't sleep". James grabs himself a glass of water "neither can I to be honest, I keep worrying about Dean. Was that Dean that called you?". I nod and hand James his phone "he called your phone, but I answered it as I thought you were asleep". James smiles and places his phone on the side "how is Dean?". 

I lean against the kitchen counter "he's ok, he's just going into surgery now". James furrows his eyebrows "took a while to get him there didn't it?". I nod slowly as James places his cup in the sink. 

James leans on the counter next to me as I yawn slightly "are you tired Con?". I shake my head a little "no, just bored". James nods "me too, how about we do something?". I nod "sure, what shall we do?". James thinks for a second and shrugs his shoulders "I don't actually know to be honest". I smile a little "shall we play a little prank?". James' eyebrow raises "on who?". I point towards the living room and James nods "lets do it". 

I open the cupboard slowly and look for what we can use, James smiles as he pulls a marker pen from the drawers "lets draw on their faces". I chuckle and nod. 

We head back into the living room and James turns his torch on and puts it touch screen side down so there is light provided in the room. James points to Brad before mouthing "lets do Brad first". I nod and we sneak past Tristan who is laying with half his face on the cushion, whereas Brad is fully on his back sitting down. 

James takes the pen lid off and draws a curly moustache on Brad's face. I chuckle a little and James hands me the pen. I sneak up to Brad and draw Harry Potter's lightning symbol on Brad's forehead. James smiles and nods before pointing to Brad's cheek, I stand there thinking and then an idea pops into James head. I hand him the pen and he starts to write softly on Brad's cheek 'BUM'. I chuckle slightly and Brad stretches a little, before laying still again. 

James then points to Tristan and I nod. Tristan is still laying with half his face on the cushion. James places a hand on Tristans legs and points for me to move his shoulders. We turn him slightly and he unconsciously wraps his legs around James' waist. I see James blush madly with the limited light we have.
