Chapter 12 - A Night Without Joe

Connor's POV:

I look at Brad nervously "I'm bad luck". Brad slides his hand into mine, squeezing my hand once they were connected "you're not Koala, just because something happens doesn't mean it's your fault". I just look at the ground, not replying as I know Brad'll deny whatever I say next. Joe bites his lip "Dean's asked me to call him, I'll be back in a min". 

Joe heads into the kitchen and closes the door behind him. I take a seat on the couch and Tristan sits next to me "Con, I promise that this isn't your fault". I just shrug my shoulders and look at the television. Joe comes out of the kitchen nervously "Dean's just asked if I can go, only because he's broken his arm and the doctors have told him that he needs someone there with him". Brad nods slowly "ok, well give him our love anyway". Joe nods slowly "I'll keep you all updated, I don't know when I'll be back though. For now, just stay off social media". 

We all nod and Joe hugs us all before heading out to see Dean before his operation. Brad sits on the arm of the chair and James sits next to Tristan. James smiles "what would you like to do?". Tristan shrugs his shoulders "I don't mind, wanna write some songs or do some jamming?". Brad smiles "sure, I don't mind", I nod slowly. James smiles "cool, I'll go grab some paper". James heads into the kitchen and I stand up "just gonna go and get some water". 

Brad nods and I head into the kitchen. As I enter the kitchen, James closes the cupboard and jumps a little "gosh, you made me jump then". He chuckles and takes the paper into the living room. I open the cup cupboard and pull out a plastic cup before filling it with water and heading back into the living room where Brad, Tristan and James are crowded around the table. 

I kneel down on the floor next to them and smile. James starts to note down some lyrics off the top of his head and I bite my lip nervously. "Con, have you got any lyrics?" James asks smiling at me. I shake my head slowly "no, but.... doesn't matter". Brad smiles "it does Koala, please tell us". I twiddle my thumbs nervously "what if we....... like..... play a few of these songs at the meet and greet as like..... a surprise?". Tristan smiles "kind of like a thank you for coming and a first look at them?". 

I nod slowly and they all smile, "Con, that's a brilliant idea!" James says enthusiastically. I shake my head "you're just saying that". Tristan smiles at me "honestly Con, we love the idea". I look at the three of them and I can tell that they are genuine smiles "really?". Brad nods "yeah!". I feel the ends of my mouth curling up a little, but then it stops and returns to normal "b-but what if they.........", I stop. Brad slides his hand into mine as James finishes "don't worry Con, they'll love the fact that we're surprising them with new songs". 

I nod slowly, not wanting to start a squabble. 

Time passes slowly as we come up with 4 new song ideas. These songs are called "Wake Up", "Worry", "Burn" and "Boy Without A Car". James puts the pencil down and stretches "I'm hungry and its 8:23 pm". Tristan chuckles "I'm hungry too, and its now 8:24 pm". James rolls his eyes and smiles "whatever you say Trissy". I turn to Brad and smile before whispering in his ear "I ship Trames". Brad chuckles and whispers back "me too". 

Tristan moves from the floor and onto the couch and so does James, I look at Brad and he asks "you hungry Koala?". I shake my head "no thanks, I'm ok at the moment". Brad nods "I'm a little hungry, whats in the cupboards James?". James stands up and stretches "I don't actually know, I'll go and have a look". James stands up and winks at Tristan, Tristan blushes.

As James disappears into the kitchen, Tristan looks at me and Brad and blushes "why you both looking at me?". Brad chuckles and I say "because we ship Trames". Tristan blushes again "do you?". Me and Brad both nod and James comes back in "there are some tortilla wraps and we have stuff like lettuce, tomato, chicken, cucumber and more if you wanna make wraps?". Tristan smiles and nods and Brad does the same. 

We all make our way into the kitchen and I notice that James has laid out some food he'd found already. Brad grabs a wrap and asks "you sure you don't want one Con?". I nod "I'm sure thank you". James grabs 2 wraps and starts to put vegetables and chicken into his. Tristan grabs his and mainly fills his with chicken and a little bit of vegetables. Brad uses up the last of the lettuce, tomato and cucumbers. 

As they all start eating, Brad's phone begins to ring and it's Joe. Brad, with his mouth full, attempts to say "can you answer it please Koala". I chuckle and nod, I answer the phone Joe says "Hi Brad". I smile "Hi Joe, it's Connor". Joe replies with "I'll be staying overnight with Dean so you boys have the house for the night". I nod "ok, I'll let them know". Joe then finishes off with "I love you all, you all know that right?". I smile "we all love you too Joe". "I'll keep you all updated anyway, have a good night" Joe says before I say goodbye and he ends the call. 

I head into the kitchen again and put Brad's phone back next to him. James chuckles and kisses Tristan on the side of his lips. Tristan smiles and James says "you had something on your lips". Brad laughs "very smooth James". Tristan blushes "I had no sauce on my wrap though". Brad rolls his eyes "Tris, he just wanted an excuse to kiss you". Tristan blushes even more.

Brad stretches "that was tasty". James nods and Tristan blushes, but nods. I lean my head on Brads shoulder and he smiles, leaning his head on my head. Tristan stands up "wanna watch a movie?". James nods and Brad looks at me "Con?". I nod "sure, what we watching?". James looks towards James and James smiles "I think we should watch Kung Fu Panda 3". Tristan chuckles "it's weird knowing that we're in that movie and we did music for it". 

I nod and Brad says "I think James should set the movie up, its his idea". I nod and so does Tristan, James laughs "only cause I love you all as best friends and a boyfriend". Tristan blushes again and James chuckles. 

Brad sits down and pats the seat next to him, I sit next to Brad and he lifts his arm up for me to snuggle into his chest. James sits next to me and Tristan squeezes himself between James and the arm of the chair. I start to chuckle and Brad smiles "why you laughing Koala?". I shake my head "we've all fitted on a 3 seater". Brad chuckles "thats weird, I've never actually witnessed 4 people on this chair. Now that you've mentioned it, it feels weird". I laugh a little and the movie begins.

Sorry its taken me sooooooooooooooooooooooo long to update this!

But I'm Back!!!!!!!!

Anyhoo, I'm gonna start updating this story, The Teachers Son & A Nevi Love Story more often now.

The reason for the long update on everything is because I've been planning out stories so that I don't have any writers blocks (I think thats what they're called).
