"Mine!" I shout as I pin the beautiful girl to a near by wall.

I know you're thinking I'm insane because I still want my mate even though they're a girl, but you're wrong. I've had a hunch for a few years that my mate would be of the same sex. Since I was fourteen I've had dreams of a beautiful girl who's features I would wake up to forget in the morning. My father told me one day that he had some of the same dreams up until the day he met my mother, as if a message from the moon goddess.

With my body pressed against my mate I pull her face up to look at me. The first thing I notice are her piercing green eyes. I could get lost in their beautiful emerald color. My mates cheeks are a cute rosy red and her lips, god her lips just look so soft and kissable but I know how to treat a lady. Or at least I'd like to think I do, seeing as I've never dated anyone. Anyway the point is I won't kiss her yet.

"Our mate is perfect." Koda purrs.

"I absolutely agree." I tell her in response.

"H-hi." My mate interjects softly with a voice that only the moon goddess herself could have created. I smile at her warmly.

"Hello beautiful." a blush rushes to her face from being complimented, as I chuckle at her cuteness.

She tries to hide her face with her gorgeous brown hair but I tip her chin back up to me.

"Don't hide that pretty blush, I love it." I coo to her softly.

"O-okay." she says stutters unsurely.

"Mate's uncomfortable, fix it." Koda growls in my head. Shit I can't scare her off.

"Would you like to come with me so that we can talk?" I ask her and back up slightly so that she has room to breathe and calm her nerves, I can hear her heart beat and its definitely faster than it should be.

"But won't the principle and teachers get mad at us for skipping class?" she asks as she clutches her notebook to her chest and turns her head to the side in confusion. She's absolutely adorable.

"Sweetheart I don't think you're fully aware of who I am. I don't think they want to get on the future alpha's bad side." I smirk at her and her eyes go wide in shock.

"I knew that you had alpha's blood because I can feel the power rolling off of you, but future alpha?" Her beautiful voice chimes.

"Yep, I take over the position in December." I smile at her.

"That soon?" she says shocked.

"Yep, now lets go." I say leading her out the back door of the school by her hand. Chills go up my whole arm due to the skin on skin contact.

Once we reach the field behind the school I pull us along so that we are resting under the shade of a tall willow tree. I've been coming out to this tree ever since my freshman year to calm down when things got to be a little too much. I tell my mate to wait and sling myself up on the branches of the trees so that I can grab one of the blankets that I have here to prevent damage to my clothes.

I throw the blanket out of the tree but Koda and I have the extreme urge to show off in front of our mate, wanting to impress her in some way. With a hop from the branch I do an effortless back flip and land perfectly on my feet. I smile at my mate's wide eyes.

"How did you do that?" she asks me in amazement, her green eyes twinkling as I spread the blanket out for us to sit on.

"It's just practice. When you grow up training with warriors you pick up some extra things." I tell her with a smile.
