"You are such a love sick puppy." Cole jokes with me as I wait in the school parking lot for my mate to arrive. I knew that she wasn't here yet because I couldn't sense her and I didn't smell her scent anywhere in the area.

"Oh shut up." I say sending a glare his way and he just smirks at me playfully as we lean against the hood of my car.

"Do you even remember what her car looks like?" Cole asks me and I scoff.

"Of course I do. She drives an old silver Toyota with a dent in the back bumper. The plate num-" Cole interrupts me by busting out into loud laughter.

"You remember the plate number?" he asks laughing still and I just nod my head. I guess it is a little strange but I mean she is my mate and I find my mind absorbing everything and anything that relates to Lily.

"You know her car is kind of run down." Cole states and I nod my head in agreement. I mean yes the car was functioning and it got her from one place to another, but as her mate I wanted her to have the best and I planned on getting her a new car. It wasn't like I didn't have the money for it. My dad gives me a pretty big allowance each month and I have been saving for years. Not to mention the extra money he puts into my bank account so that I can do what I want with it.

"Yeah I know and I intend to fix that soon. I can't have her driving around in that hunk of junk." I tell Cole with a small frown.

"Did you see the pictures I sent to your phone of you and her at lunch yesterday?" My best friend asks.

"Yep I sure did and I think you'd be happy to know that one of the pictures is my phone wallpaper." I say to Cole just as I see my mates car pull into the parking lot.

My heart flutters at the thought of being around her for the rest of the day while my wolf is bouncing off the walls in excitement.

"Mate is here." Koda yips in excitement.

I guess that Lily saw Cole and  I because she pulled over to us and parked in the empty spot directly next to my car. I watch as her petite body slides slowly out of the car and shuts the door before turning to look at me. Grey eyes meet green and I smile at her warmly.

Lily walks around her car and heads in my direction so I meet her in the middle.

"Hi." she greets me cutely with a light blush on her cheeks.

"Hey babygirl." I say pulling her into me and placing a soft kiss to her forehead. "How was your night?"

"It was fine I just helped my aunt around the house and cuddled with my kitten, Moon." Lily says green eyes looking down at her feet shyly as I wrap an arm around her waist.

"That sounds fun. I wish I could have been there to cuddle you instead of Moon." I pout at her playfully.

"Awh poor thing, are you jealous of a cute little kitten?" she giggles looking up at me.

"Yes because she got your cuddles and I didn't." I tell her with another pout and a small huff.

"Awwwe. You're cute." my mate giggles as she stands up on her tiptoes to place a light kiss to my cheek.

"You two are so adorable that I actually might barf." Cole says with a sarcastic roll of his eyes. I send him a glare but he just smirks.

"Hey Cole. Nice to see you again." Lily greets him with a happy smile as she leans into my side.

"Good morning Luna." Cole says respectfully with a bow of his head.
