"Baby, why are you so nervous? It's just my parents." I say with a small chuckle at Lily's cute nervous habit of running her hands through her hair over and over. We are currently sitting in the drive way to my house just after school as Lily promised she would come over today.

"Just your parents? Are you forgetting that they are the Alpha and Luna of this pack on top of being my amazing mate's parents?" the green eyed werewolf says continuing to stress herself.

"Lily, calm down beautiful. My parents are nothing to worry that pretty little head about. I know for a fact that they will adore you. You are literally the sweetest and most caring person I have ever met in my life. As for them being the Alpha and Luna, you seem to be forgetting that you are the future Luna of this pack. " I tell her as I place my hands on both her shoulders so that she is looking at me.

My beautiful mate takes a deep breath and huffs before hugging me to her body tightly. With her arms wrapped around my neck and my arms around her waist we stand there for a while until I feel like it's time to finally introduce Lily to my parents properly.

"Follow me babygirl." I smile and open our front door with Lily's hand in mine. I can smell my mother in the kitchen and my father in his office.

Happily I begin to make my way towards my mother. Lily's green eyes take in everything around us but I can still feel her nervous energy. I give her hand a reassuring squeeze as we step into the kitchen.

"Mother, I'm home." I greet her as her back is turned to me. Her dark hair is in a ponytail as she cooks for dinner tonight and bakes desserts.

"Hey sweet pea. How was school?" my mom asks but still doesn't turn to me, meaning she has no idea that Lily is here. Unlike us, because she is human, she can't tell who is near her just by their scent or heartbeat.

"It was great but I brought someone you need to meet." I smile while glancing over at my nervous mate.

Instantly my mom whips around to look at who I brought home. When her eyes lock with Lily and I's enterlocked hands she beams widely.

"Oh you must be Lily. Ally hasn't been able to shut up about you since the first day she met you. You really are very beautiful my dear." my mother says causing a blush to rise to my cheeks as she walks around the counter to hug Lily. She really doesn't need to tell her that I can't stop talking to her.

Lily giggles softly as she turns to look at my embarrassed features. My mother just smiles before releasing the green eyed girl and looking over at me.

"She has never blushed like that in her entire life." My mom chuckles nodding over to me.

"I think it's cute." Lily says making her way over to me and wrapping her arms around my neck. I lean my head into hers so that our foreheads rest against one another. She smiles at me softly and I return it before placing a soft kiss to her temple.

"You two are so freaking adorable." my mom squeals and gushes over us. Lily and I just turn to laugh at her.

"Alright mom I'm going to go introduce dad to Lily and go on a run before dinner." I say pulling my mate behind me and up the stairs as my mom screams to be safe.

Before Lily can even complain I pull her into my fathers office with a small peck to her cheek for comfort. I can see her start to panic when she sees my father so I stroke my thumb lightly over her knuckles. I immediately hear her heartbeat slow slightly from its erratic beating.

At the noise and commotion of the two of us entering the door my fathers steely eyes shift upwards. He keeps his gaze locked with Lily's. I know that by doing so he is challenging her wolfs authority. Even though the two of us are not fully mated Lily's wolf should begin to adopt the Luna role.
