Ch 1: Confessions

                

I was walking and heard a "woosh" sound. I turn and see a shape silhouetted in the moonlight, it was a ninja. I only saw his silhouette just before he took off again. I sighed in disappointment as i walked the rest of the way home. "Honey? What were you doing out so late at night?" My mom asks. "Oh um..uh...i was hanging out with friends" i reply half lying. "Oh, ok. Well get on to bed, its a school night." She says in a soft yet brisk tone. "Ok mum" i reply as i head off to my room. As i head up there i think about the ninja i saw. "Was he on a mission?" I ask aloud. I shrug as i climb in to bed and soon fall asleep.

Sun filters in to my room and onto my face. "Ugh..is it morning already.." I grumble. I roll over and get my phone to see what time it was. My phone said it was around 7. "Oh gosh" i say as i get up in an instant and get changed and ready. "Felicia! Your late, hurry up" my mom hollers up at me. "Im coming!" I yell back. I hurry and pack my homework back into my backpack and run down stairs and out the door.

I get to school 2 minutes before the bell rings to go to class. I grab my things from my locker and go to art class. As i take my seat, i see a cute guy. He has silver hair and yellow eyes. The guy turns his head and looks at me. We lock eye contact a second then i look away embarrassed to be caught staring. "What is it young lady" the guy asks. "Oh u-um.." I stammer. The guy just looks away as i turn away blushing slightly.

Its lunch soon after my other 4 classes. I get my tray and get my food and sit alone. I see the guy earlier from art sitting alone too. He seems upset or lonely, but its hard to read his expressions. His face is giving nothing away. I shrug it off as i eat. I hear footsteps approach me and i turn to see who it is. Its the guy and i almost choke on my food i have in my mouth in surprise. "Are you ok?" He asks in a smooth comforting tone. I nod as i wash down the food with a drink of water.

The bell rings for next classes after lunch. I just sit there and lock eye contact with the guy. "My name is Kaito" says the guy. "I-im Felicia" i stammer. He looks me up and down. Im wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I have brownish red hair and he smiles warmly at me. I blush a little as i shake his hand he has offered. "We should get to class" he says.

"O-ok" i reply as he helps me up.

After sixth period ends i get stuff for the last remaining two classes. As i walk to seventh period i pass Kaito and say "hi" and run off to class. As i sit and wait for eight period to end i draw a picture of Kaito and blush as i draw in the details of his face and hair. A popular girl comes up over my shoulder to look. "Well, what do we have here?" she asks. I quickly cover the picture and reply, "nothing Kira." Kira stares at me with a raised eyebrow. "Hmm let me see that drawing, now" she says. I stand up with my notebook containing the drawing and say, "no!" Kira shoves me and i punch her and she backs me up into the classroom door and it swings open. I drop my notebook and Kira goes and dives for it. I launch myself at her and punch her in the gut and take my notebook and bolt down to a different room. "Hey whats wrong Felicia?" asks Kaito. I ignore him as Kira comes crashing in after me and I'm breathing hard. Kira lunges at me and i duck and knee her in the face. The notebook drops again and Kaito grabs it and sees the drawing of him and he watches me fighting Kira.

After awhile and Kaito quits the fight and yells at Kira. "She started it!" Kira yells while pointing at me. "Kira let me hear Felicia's side of the story." I explain to Kaito in what happened about not letting her see the drawing and he takes me by the wrist and excuses us from the room. "What where you doing trying to start a fight?" He asks with a playfulness in his voice. "Hey the drawing was my business not hers." I reply with a slight blush and ask, "did you l-look at it?" Kaito looks at me and smiles and replies, "Yes i did, you did very good, but why of me?" I look at him then away as my blush deepens. "N-no reason" i stammer.

We come back to get our things after seeing my self to be ok and leave. As i walk home i hold my notebook close and its getting dark out. I hear footsteps and look, its Kira again. "Im here to whoop ya after today" she says. "Leave me alone Kira." i say. Kira stares at me with a twisted look. I back away and i feel a figure behind me and i gasp when i see who it is, it was the ninja from before. "Its you!" I yell. The ninja just ignores me and takes off after Kira. "Let me go!" Shouts Kira. All the ninja does is toss her aside and picks me up bridal style and runs off and drops me off at my house. I walk in and my mom welcomes me home and i go to bed.

I wake the next morning not remembering what even happened. I get ready as usual and soon head to school. I see Kaito and wave to him as he walks up to me. "Hi there cutie" he says. I blush and reply, "h-hey there". We gaze at each other until the bell rang a second after we locked eye contact. After lunch we got to go out for a few minuets this time as a reward on hard work in classes. I sit under a shady tree and start to draw another picture, but I'm in it with Kaito this time. I soon am about to finish the drawing as i look up and see out of the corner of my eye, there is Kaito staring over my shoulder. "Huh, nice drawing there, is that you and me?" he asks. A huge blush spreads across my face and I'm shocked for a second. "Y-yes its u-us" i manage to say. The bell rings and we go to our final class.

Eight period ends and I'm in pe. I go and dress out back into my jeans, t-shirt, and sweatshirt. I walk out of the building with my bag slung over my shoulder on the one strap and start to go home when I'm stopped. I look to see and its Kaito with his hand on my shoulder. "What are you doing?" i ask him. "I need to talk to you, its important" he says. We go to a quiet place thats hidden from the school areas. "I have a question for you, where you saved by a ninja last night?" he asks. "Yes i was, how did you know?" i ask. "W...well that..that was me" he says. I just stare at him in shock and don't even say a word. After a few minuets, i soon talk and say, "Kaito! That was you?!" I yell. "Shh! Only you know and i have a love for you thats forbidden in my ninja code!" he says. I look at him and blush. "You love me?" I ask. He nods as he pulls me in for a kiss but we hear something rush off from where it was watching us. "Crap, a fellow member must have heard and saw, ill handle it gal, excuse me." He takes off after the other ninja with impossible speed and knocks him out and comes back.
