So, this is where the sinful souls go to be tortured. It is much like the graveyards back home, but creepier. Balls of mist surrounded by a blue aura in a form of a sphere floats with melancholy, contrition, forgiveness, and vexation. All I could do is sense their pain, but did they deserved to be tortured like this? Just balls of brume, reeking out for someone to save their souls, but having no one to help? This was Hell. You get what you deserve. No emotions hear, but one. Fear. 7 sins, but add 1. Revenge. They all have one thing in common with me the living, revenge. Why? I don't want revenge. Do I? Something is prevented me from feeling this way like it's purifying my mind whenever I think about words out of my character. It's like it is trying to protect me, restrain me from the ill thoughts any human being should have. That's right! I wasn't fully human. I was just part human.
"Michikosama, watch out!" Ruben shouts, and I see a floating soul inches away from me. I quickly jump out of the way, only to ease Ruben's mind. He has to protect me, and I feel awful his attention is away from his ruling.
"You scared me." I placed my hands on my chest, trying to catch my breath.
He walks closer to me. "Are you hurt?" He asks, worried.
"Not from the floating soul, but from you scaring me." I frowned, looking up at him as I see him scanned over my body. "What's the big deal anyway?" I squirmed, trying to get from under his stares.
Ruben sighs. "Those souls will try to posses any living thing they come into contact with. That's how desperate they are to return back into the living." He points out to the floating orbs.
"Oh-"
"Who's trespassing in my graveyard?" A voice shouts out in the distance. As before, I hid behind Ruben. I'm not naturally this afraid in my own domain, but Hell isn't the place I feel safe in. Anyone could be a foe.
"Kitsune yuo konsan." Ruben says with relief, and a smile on his face. Kitsune yuo kosan? Is this the demon the Frog demon referred us too? I hope it isn't creepy like him. A silhouette of a person forms behind the thick mist roaming the area, and I stood still of this approaching figure. It's building up suspense just from walking towards us. Finally, it appears from underneath the fog. The demon had long guard hairs, soft, fine underfur that was reddish Brown, black ears and leg, and the one thing that really caught my attention was the white-tipped tail. This demon was a red fox demon. Much cuter than the frog bunny hybrid.
"Satan, what are you doing all the way out here?" It spoke.
"I am searching for the power Lucifer sealed up."
"Now why would you go looking for that?" The Fox demon raised a brow on suspicion.
I feel Ruben move out of the way, revealing me to the creature. I am both mad and terrified at Ruben action. What is this Fox demon going to do with me?
"Ah-" It nods his head up and down, agreeing with something in his mind. "Lucifer's daughter." With out Ruben saying who I was. It knew who I was by itself. Who's was demon? "Michikosan, right?" It asks, and I nod slowly.
I pull on Ruben's arm, making him come to my level in stature. "Say, shouldn't we look for my powers? So, why are we in this creepy graveyard?" I whispered in his ears.
"It is impolite to whisper in front of others." Ruben scolds me lightly, making my face heat up in embarrassment.
"Sorry." I divert my eyes to the Fox demon who is tending to the tortured souls. I doubt it was even paying attention to Ruben and I, but I still felt it necessary to apologize.
Ruben proceeds to answer my question. "Kitsune yuo konsan is the keeper of this graveyard of tortured souls."
"I understand that, but what does that have to with my power?" I frowned. The quicker we get this done, the quicker I can go back home, and eat a real meal. Those Pocky sticks will not hold the hunger brewing inside of me much longer if we go on at this pace.
"Your demon powers are connected to your demon soul, and Kitsune yuo konsan keeps track of souls in Hell and on Earth."
"So, I have two souls?"
He nods, agreeing. "A human soul, and a demon soul. They make you whole. Right now you're not at your full potential, because you only have one of the souls. Once we restore your powers you'll have both your souls unlocked." He made it seem as if I wouldn't be the same person I am now, I would be different. I didn't want to change. I like how I am now. "Having Lucifer's blood running through your veins isn't enough." He adds.
The Fox demon clears it's throat. "Now if you two will stop yapping I will tell you where the powers lies." Ruben and I both focuses solely on him, ignoring the floating orbs. "The power that you seek is much greater than me. That power is your own. It's in the mountain made out of bones. Those are the bodies who committed the sins, their souls makes my graveyard you are standing in." The Fox demon vanishes in thin air, leaving me puzzled.
"Was that it? A riddle? I hate riddles." I complained, but stopped when I see Ruben walking ahead. I quickly caught up him. "Thanks for waiting." I say sarcastically.
"I know where the Mountain Of Bones is located." Ruben spoke.
"You do?"
"Yeah which makes it more easier than expected."
I smile, knowing that he isn't going to be frustrated while we try to find my powers. "Let's go!" I loop my arms with his, skipping to our destination.
(Somewhere in Kyoto, Japan...)
"We have captured Lucifer." The man with the eye patched kneels down at his superior feet. "We did not kill him like you ordered."
"Good."
"Forgive me Master, but we we're unable to catch his offspring." The man with the eye patch bowed lower.
"It can't be helped." The master spoke.
"Master?"
"Let the child be, once you spot her location. She'll come to us, and reveal her self on her own."
"Yes master." The man with the eye patch stands up to leave, but the Master stops him.
"And, one more thing."
"Yes Master."
"Kill Lucifer." The Master finalized leaving no room for question. The man with the eyes patch scurries off to fulfill his Master's orders. This was only the beginning of what was to come.
