They seemed to be walking for ages, Adrien's hand woven in between hers, his warmth seeping right into her bones. Danica felt as if she were being dragged by this incredibly strong man and picked up her dress in her free hand.
"Adrien if you cared about my arm staying attached to my shoulder would you kindly slow down?" Danica gasped as she again tripped over another small pebble. Adrien stopped and whipped her close to him his warm breath fanning across her face, he smelled of flowers and musky oak wood and Danica tried not to inhale the beautiful smell radiating off him, Danica's chest constricted and she held her breath as he looked down at her, one of his golden curls falling into his eye.
"Fine." He smirked a single dimple appearing beside his smile line, adding an increased beauty to him.
Danica smiled back and he turned back around, his white shirt slipping down on his hand as he continued to grip her hand, Danica ignored the sparks that flowed through her arms and around her body electrifying her that made her feel alive.
Suddenly he made a sharp turn and Danica tumbled down into a big mud puddle ruining her dress.
"Adrien!" Danica shrieked, whimpering at the sight of her best dress, Adrien stopped as soon as he felt her hand slip out of his; and was now looking at Danica a smile spreading on his face.
"Come on princess, it's a little mud that water can wash in time." Adrien squatted in front of Danica's face his eyes meeting hers.
"A little mud? Are you kidding I spent three pounds on this dress." Danica whined again, feeling the blur of tears cloud her vision and she hastily tucked a string of hair behind her ear.
Adrien sighed and looked up at the clouds, before suddenly jumping in the puddle next to her ruining his white shirt.
Danica stared at him in shock her jaw hanging open.
"There." He smiled flicking a muddy piece of blonde hair away from his face. "Now we are even."
"That shirt looked really expensive Adrien oh my goodness- "
'Do you ever stop talking?" Adrien arched a single thick eyebrow.
Danica went to open her mouth to speak but shut her mouth, thinking the better of it; instead Danica looked up around the surroundings and found herself grinning.
"What is this place?" Danica asked, feeling genuinely curious as to where she was.
"The beginning of the elf kingdom." Adrien cleared his throat and stood up wiping off as much mud as he could. Danica knowing Adrien would not help her up started to help herself up just as a hand shot out and gripped her arm with a firm grip. Danica looked up to find herself staring right at dark green eyes and a chiseled face.
"Do your eyes change colors?" Danica asked feeling a hard lump forming in her throat.
Adrien looked confused for a second before he relaxed a smile appearing on his face naturally. "yeah they do they don't change from green though, just shades."
Danica nodded as they continued to walk on and soon enough Danica was surprised to see forest all of sudden appear.
"Adrien what in the goodness is this? Where did all this forest come from?" Danica stopped feeling overwhelmed.
"Ah this is the elf forest; we have been walking in it for about five minutes but the glamour stopped you from seeing it." Adrien smiled turning around to face Danica his arms spread wide. 'Welcome to my humble home Miss Danica the human." He bowed incredibly low his face almost touching his knees.
Danica couldn't help herself but giggle at his humor and spread her arms wide as well taking in the scenery of Adrien's home, everywhere she looked was lush green that matched Adrien's eyes.
