"Aller en Italie" I leaned my seat back trying to make myself comfortable even though flying kind of terrified me.

"Going to Italy" Scott repeated what I said only in English and I looked over at him.

"Yeah that's what I said" I replied back looking over at him and he smiled shrugging.

"I didn't know you knew how to speak French" He looked a bit shocked.

"I didn't know you understood French" I shot back causing him to laugh. It was six in the morning and our flight had taken off a bit late but we'd still arrive to Italy at the same time we would if we would have taken off on time. Scott met me at my house around four this morning and we drove to the airport together. I made sure I told my parents what my plans where the night before but I didn't tell them I was going with Scott. I knew my dad would say something about traveling with a guy I hardly knew especially one that was a cop and three years older than me. Personally age didn't really matter to me I'm nineteen years old I've been capable of making all the right choices since I was so I think I'm okay. Besides Scott is just a friend despite anything that happened between us.

"I do my grandparents taught me a few things" He said now leaning back in his own seat trying to get comfortable. The turbulence of the plane was getting pretty out of control I was starting to instantly regret even coming up with this plan.

"Yeah- um that was nice of them" I stated gripping the arm rest of my seat.

"Are you alright?" Scott asked noticing my reaction to the sudden shaking of the plane and let out a small chuckle.

"This is no laughing matter" I said in a barely whisper only causing him to laugh more.

Wait ar-are you afraid of flying?" He asked sitting up and looking over at me.

"No... I just get a little nervous" I lied right through my teeth but he knew that.

"You're afraid of flying! How can you invite me on a trip half way across the world and you're afraid of flying? You are truly something else" He stated sitting back in his chair again getting comfortable.

"I'm not afraid I just don't enjoy the turbulence part of the ride is all, if you felt like your plane was about to be knocked out of the sky you'd be freaked too" I replied trying to calm down. We had a few hours on this plan and I didn't want to spend the whole time holding on to my chair. I wanted to sleep. I fI slept I wouldn't even know if the plan was shaking or not and my problem would be solved.

"Good morning again everyone, this is your pilot speaking... sorry about the rough flight in due time it'll be over we will be landing in Rome around 2 p.m today, Everyone enjoy the rest of your flight " Our pilot spoke over the intercom as I continued to toss and turn trying to adjust myself in the right position.

"Look I won't be able to sleep with all your tossing and turn so how we do this" Scott said obviously getting fed up with all my moving. He pulled up his arm rest removing the only barrier between us and grabbed the pillow that was above our heads.

"You can lay against me and I promise you it'll calm your nerves" He spoke as he tried making enough space for me to lay as I pleased. Hesitantly I pulled my legs up on my part of the chair and leaned against his side with my head on his chest as he brought his right arm around me and I cuddled up against him. Looking everywhere but at him I focused my attention on his steady beating heart and tried counting how many times it skipped a beat. I laid there counting like that for a few moments when I realized he was right and it had helped me calm down.

"how;d you know this would work?" I asked a simple question.

"Because when someone is nervous or all worked its just there body's way of telling them their uncomfortable, The feeling of being comfortable eases the mind and helps the person freak out less" He spoke as if he did this daily, helping people relax when in reality he had the most hectic job a man could ever have.

"Thanks" I told him not wanting to say anything else before I freaked again. It didn't take me long after that to fall asleep. It came easier then expected but I guess I should have known t would with all the sleepless nights. Holland and I talked about traveling all the time it was something she had always wanted to do besides become an famous actress. I mean yeah she would have been amazing at playing the role of someone other then her because she almost did it daily. I think I miss her now more than ever because I'm off doing something we dreamed about doing together. It makes me wonder what sorts of trouble she'd get me in while we were in Europe. Not saying Holland was a trouble maker but she definitely pushed her boundaries.

When our flight landed Scott had to nearly shake the life out of me to wake me up. With a jolt I sat up quickly looking around for some type of killer because with that type of wake up call sure there was one.

"What!?" I nearly screamed earning a chuckle from Scott as he pulled his luggage down from over head of us.

"We've landed come on" He stated simply. I sighed and tried to calm down with the listening of my own heart racing. After I was able to settle down I got up from my place and grabbed my suitcase from above me. We hadn't made it clear when we'd be back to I made sure to pack for a least a few weeks plus a little extra money to buy whatever I needed just in case we stayed longer. As we unboarded the plane the sight before my eyes was more then beautiful. There were tons of glorious mountains that stood their ground and stretched put far around us like a barrier. The fog hung low so you could see the reflections of some of the mountains from miles on. I had never seen anything so beautiful.

"This place is amazing" Scott spoke first as we navigated our way through the airport and outside to find a taxi. There was so much going on all around us that I hadn't even noticed when Scott slipped his hand in mine and pulled me through the crowds. I didn't pull my hand away, not then anyway I let him move me through and when we finally reached where he had been taken us he let go on his own.

"Welcome to Italy!" A guy said smiling and holding his arms out wide. I wasn't sure who he was but Scott sure had.

Welcome to Italy was correct however, this place looked amazing.
