The next day was actually a normal day. I noticed Tony had French and History with us. With us I mean Star, Rose and me. We were lucky we had all classes together. In the breaks Christopher brought me to his friends. He wanted me to stay by his side as long as possible. I thought it was really cute, right? I practiced the play two hours a day, the last hour I practiced the dance with Tony. It wasn’t different now I was Christopher’s girlfriend, he said he was okay with it. Tony and I had become really good friends. The days went on like that; normal classes, breaks with Christopher, practice the play, practice the dance with Tony, go home. I had the nightmare where I run away almost every night. It had a different ending ever time, but still that my pursuer was just about to hurt me. Why do I have that specific nightmare all the time? I didn’t have much time to worry about it though, the day we had to perform the play kept getting closer and closer. Today was the day we were going to perform the play. I was sitting in a chair, someone doing my hair and make-up for the first scene. I was wearing pretty normal clothes actually. The scenes went by in a blur. I was extremely happy that Amber was a simple servant. Let’s say it was payback for making me sing solo. The audience loved the scene Everett and Juliette had their first kiss. The kiss didn’t lose any passion although we kissed a couple of times. When Tony and I first kissed, it was also my first kiss, but I don’t count it as one since it was for the play. I didn’t count any of our kisses as a real kiss since it was for the play. It was now the scene Juliette finds out Everett is a vampire. Tony and I were once again the only ones on the stage, in Everett’s house. Everyone was silent. ‘Are you scared?’ Tony asked me as he got closer to me. ‘Are you afraid of me now Jules?’ He asked again. I backed up, Tony, Everett, still coming closer to me. I stopped moving when he wrapped his arms around my waist, not allowing me to back up any further. He stood completely against me now. I bent backwards, Tony following my movement. My upper body was almost horizontal. Tony had his one arm around my waist, the other on my stomach, almost like in the dance, so I wouldn’t fall. He bent over me, his lips traveling to my neck. I heard the everyone gasp, even the people who also played in the play, everyone knew what was coming. My head hung back and I closed my eyes, Tony planting small kisses on my neck. Then he bit down. Everett bit Juliette, but Tony actually took some of my flesh between his teeth. My eyes shot open and I gasped. For real. Thank god I was supposed to gasp, but now it was even better. My back arched towards him, then I relaxed completely, closing my eyes again. I ‘fainted’. Tony’s one arm was under my back, the other now went under the back of my knees, then he lifted me up bridal style. My right side was against him, my left arm hung loosely while my right arm was on my stomach. My head still hung back, giving it a dramatic look. Everyone was quiet. I guess they really liked it. Tony walked down the stage. I knew  he had a serious look on his face, he was supposed to. When we were out of sight, but with the rest of the classes, I opened my eyes again. Tony didn’t put me down yet, so I just wrapped my arms around his neck. Some of the people who didn’t have to go on stage ran towards us; ‘Oh my god that looked fantastic! Even better than when you practiced!’ I glanced at Tony, we both knew it was because he now actually bit me. He smirked, then finally put me down. ‘Thanks.’ We said in unison. ‘We have to rush now.’ I said. Everyone understood. I pulled Tony with me. We were going to have to change. The next scene was when Juliette woke up and after that she runs to Everett, followed by the dance. I quickly changed to the clothes I was supposed to wear then went to do my hair and make-up. I was now wearing a loose shirt, which had a knot on the right side so a little of my stomach was bare, and an elastic black short until mid-thigh. I had no shoes. Tony also only had a shirt and pants. ‘See you later.’ He said smiling as I was about to go on the stage again. I smiled back at him then took my position; on ‘my’ bed. The scene started. Juliette wakes up, remembers what happens, escapes from home and runs to Everett. We had a dramatic meeting, immediately beginning with the dance. I saw Everett and slowed my pace as he looked up and saw me too. ‘Jules.’ He whispered, but made it hearable for the rest. We walked to each other, the music started, and we circled around each other. We continued the dance and the audience loved it. As the last ‘It’s where my demons are.’ Sounded and the song ended, the audience stood up and everyone clapped their hands. Tony and I smiled at each other, not losing our parts. We continued the play. I knew the audience loved it when we kissed, every time. My song, Iris, went amazing. I saw everyone was amazed but all in a good way. I loved the day. The play ended when Everett and Juliette kissed again. That’s we were currently where. His strong arm around my waist, my arms wrapped around his neck, his warm lips on mine. The audience gave us a standing ovation, but I didn’t notice anything. Tony and I finally broke our kiss and smiled. Then we turned to the audience, intertwining our fingers and bowed. The rest came up the stage and we all held hands. Tony and I in the middle. The ones that took part in especially Juliette’s life on my left. Tony was on my right and the ones who mostly took part in Everett’s life on his right. The ones that had to do with both were divided on the sides. We bowed together again, raising our intertwined hands and bowed again. We raised our hands again. Some kids ran away and pulled Iris, Emerald and our teacher up. They bowed too while we all clapped for them too. I haven’t been happier. The moment was just perfect. Then the teachers got some flowers and to my surprise Tony and I also got flowers. I got red roses. Tony and I got our flowers from some little kids. Some kids from elementary school came to look, the kids from our school, and some parents. The little girl who gave me flowers hugged my legs. I hugged her back. ‘You were my favorite.’ The little girl said. I was touched. ‘Thank you.’ I said as I took a rose and gave it to the little girl. She seemed really happy and ran to her mom to show it. I smiled. Tony smiled at me and I smiled back. I looked around the room and saw my parents, in their other human form, finally looking proud. I looked further and also saw Christopher. He smiled at me and I was really happy. We all left the stage and I changed into my normal clothes. Rose, Star, Tony, Roy, some other kids and I were still talking. Tony and Rose next to me. Rose, Star and some other girls kept talking about Tony and I. I saw Christopher coming ‘back stage’. I kept looking at him then said to my friends; ‘Just a sec.’ Before I got an answer I walked to Christopher. I stopped when I was in front of him and smiled. He came closer and hugged me, lifting me off of my feet; ‘You were great.’ He put me down again and planted a kiss on my cheek. ‘Thanks.’ I saw Tony looking at us from the corner of my eye. Christopher saw him too. He looked at him, or more glanced, then looked back at me; ‘Now you don’t have to kiss that guy anymore right? Man, you had to kiss a lot. More than I remember. The song you sang was amazing, we didn’t have that one too. We also didn’t have the dance, that one was also really awesome. It was way better this year.’ He said. I smiled; ‘No I do not have to. Thank you and thank you.’ I said laughing. Christopher gave a small kiss on my lips. I noticed Tony walked away, Roy following him. Rose and Star giving him questioning looks. I wonder what happened. Christopher saw it too and smiled. He took my hand and walked away with me. My parents left already. I noticed Ice and Flame standing in the corner. They looked a little pissed. I blinked once and they were smiling at me. Was I imagining things? I shook it off and let go of Christopher’s hand as I ran towards Ice and Flame. I wrapped my arms around both of their necks, pulling them into a hug. They hugged me back. ‘You were awesome.’ Ice said as I pulled back. ‘I agree.’ Flame added smiling. He looked at something behind me, or someone, and narrowed his eyes but quickly smiled at me again after a nudge from Ice. I looked behind me but only saw Christopher. Probably the thing or person left already. ‘Bye Louise, I’ll see you tomorrow at school.’ Christopher said. I nodded; ‘Bye.’ He walked away and I turned back to Flame and Ice. ‘Do you like that guy?’ Flame asked. I furrowed my eyebrows; ‘Yes. Why?’ Flame continued walking, Ice next to him, sending him some glares once in a while, and said; ‘Ah, nothing. He uhm… seems to like you too.’ An awkward silence followed, but soon Ice cracked the ice by his stupid actions. The rest of the walk home was really fun. I think Flame also thought about me like a friend again and that made me really happy. ‘Carry me!’ I screamed as I ran and jumped on Flame’s back. He stumbled, because he didn’t expect it but didn’t fall, and Ice laughed. I wrapped my arms around Flame’s neck, loosely, and my legs around his waist. I rested my chin on his shoulder. Flame held my legs so I wouldn’t slip and carried me. ‘I haven’t carried you like this in a while.’ Flame said. ‘Yes, that is true. So now I am going to enjoy this. Thanks.’ He smiled and I completely surprised him when I kissed him on the cheek. He blinked a couple of times, not understanding, and I smiled, resting my chin on his shoulder again. Ice laughed at Flame’s surprised look; ‘Did I just see the tough Flame blush?’ Ice asked teasingly. Flame turned away his head; ‘No.’ Ice and I both laughed.
