I closed the door of my room and slung my backpack in my shoulder. I had a nightmare again. It just all keeps coming back. That demon in the funeral, he is always there in my dreams. I want to get out of it but I don't know how, I feel like I needed some mental help. I couldn't sleep after remembering the demon in my nightmare.

Rubbing my temples, I feel like I'm gonna fall asleep at school. I'm lacking of sleep these past few days, good thing it's a Friday. I went to the kitchen where I found Emily, she smiled at me while doing the dishes. I hope she wasn't that upset because of our argument last day. Her smile seems like we're fine, that's what I like about her, she always forgives me. Even if we aren't really sisters by blood she accepted me and treated me like her other half.

"Morning." I said as I sit on the chair, stabbing some eggs.

"Good morning too. Tomorrow is our parents' death anniversary. I'm gonna invite people to pray with us. I hope you'll also invite your friends." She said sitting across me.

Pray. That makes me feel weird. Before, I don't really have a problem with that, but after these weird things happening to me I feel like praying isn't a part of me anymore. I don't know why, but I need to know why. I found myself agreeing to her, I don't have that much friends. Only Ava and Seb.

"Okay. I'll try to invite them."

"Yeah!" She smiled and clapped her hands. I ate the eggs feeling like I want to puke them all but I just drank water so Emily wouldn't notice how weird my eating habits have become.

There was a knock on the door until Emily opened it, I hear that it's still raining outside so I opened the cabinet to get my umbrella readying myself.

"Ara, your friend Seb is here to go to school with you." I heard her said.

"Okay wait," I took a black umbrella.

"Just wait her here." I hear Emily say to Seb and she entered the kitchen looking at me smiling. Emily squeezed my arm.

"Is he your new boyfriend?" She whispered.

My eyes widened wanting to laugh at her. "You mean Seb?"

"Yeah," she shrugged, "He went here last week, is he courting you? What about Adam?"

I laughed, giggling and Emily just raised an eyebrow. Seb is courting me? Ha-ha. That will be the funniest joke she said to me.

"Sebastian is just my best friend. Don't you remember him when we were little? He's that boy with braces and glasses who plays with me at the woods. He migrated in Japan and came back last week."

He's my first best friend before Ava, I guess I like his company more than her. And I guess he cares more, rather than her..

"Oh I remember now. Sebastian Fukushima, that boy who used to give you balloons on your birthdays. Yeah, I know him. But he looked cuter." Emily crossed her arms.

"Yeah, puberty hits him hard." We both chuckle.

"Okay go to school now, be safe." She embraced me and kissed my cheek. I found Seb holding his umbrella waiting for me in the front porch.

"Hey." He greeted. I grinned and opened my umbrella standing beside him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.
