"What's that?"

I asked because Sebastian is holding a strawberry ice cream in a cone in front of my face. His face looks apologetic and I just sighed, taking the ice cream from his hand.

"I'm sorry." He said as he sat on the chair across me here in the library. He looks exhausted and sad. Honestly, I forgot about our fight a week ago. And I think that argument wasn't really a big deal for me. I felt guilty not making up with him. He looks like he had sleepless nights because of me.

The demons in my mind are the ones who are making me unable to sleep at night. They won't go away, making me feel that they are stuck with me forever. They gave me headaches and nosebleeds this past few days. Making me insane.

I should probably forget about the demons. For now, I have to talk to my bestfriend. I licked the ice cream he gave me and I smile at him. "It's okay, Seb. Don't sweat about it."

Seb's corner of his mouth also tilted up, "Thank you. I am really sorry. I shouldn't really judge you like that." He bowed his head.

I slowly touched his hand over the table, sqeezing it for assurance. "Seb, I told you it's okay. I don't want us to fight anymore."

"Me too, Ara. You're important to me." He whispered, staring at our hands.

A frown appeared on my forehead when I heard whispers behind me. Girls who are getting books, whispering about me.

"Oh my god, look. She's really a flirt. Isn't she dating Adam?"

"Yeah, and now she wants Sebastian. Gosh, what a desperate woman."

"I thought she was nice. Such a fake."

"I even saw her flirting with Chace. She's just like her bestfriend. What a bunch of whores."

"I totally agree with you. I hate Ava too."

I scowled, what a bunch of nosy and judgmental girls. I feel so annoyed, my nails are now digging into my palms. I gritted my teeth, wanting nothing but to see those girls' blood covering the entire school. It made me want to hurt them.

"Ara, chillax. Don't listen to them. They are just jealous of you. I know who you are." Seb squeezed my hand. Making me relax and shrugging those girls off. But there's a tiniest part of me that my inner demons want to come out. To get revenge and hurt them.

I just sighed and nod my head in agreement. When I looked behind me to see the whispering girls again, but instead of seeing them, my eyes widened seeing Lilith and Malum grinning widely at me. There are leaning against the bookshelves, watching me closely with Seb.

The Alluring Woman will never be divine.

My heart jumped, my ice cream fel on the table and I quickly got my books, putting them inside my bag. My hands are trembling and goosebumps are starting to crawl my skin.

"You okay?" Seb frowned, cleaning the ice cream on the table for me. "You look like you've seen a ghost."

I almost laughed. If he just knew that Lilith and Malum aren't just ghosts. But if I tell him about them, he might get into trouble. Or worse, he might even think that I need mental help.

"I'm heading home. I'm cleaning the house and I'll help Emily design my dress for the prom." I said, half lying.

Seb also stood up, "Oh, okay be careful."

"You too, Seb." I said, I was about to exit the library when he called me.

"Ara, wait."

I glance at him, my bag in my shoulder, "Yeah?"
