(A/N) listing to this song. I love it so much. I know it's a really sad song but it speaks to me. I hope it speaks to you too. On to the story, sorry!

As we're walking down the hall I start humming the Big Time Rush theme song.

"Who's your favorite member of BTR?" I ask hitting the elevator button.

"Who?" Zander looks at me weird.

It's silent in the tiny room. I can hear our steady breathing. We stop on the 5th floor and Daniel steps in. He looks like he's going somewhere fancy.

"Hey Carter," he says winking at me.

"What's up Danny," I say back.

"Oh so now we're on a nickname basis?" He says chuckling.

"Yes, but I don't have one so don't try," I respond chuckling as well.

"Baby," he says looking deep in thought.

"Nobody puts Baby in a corner," I say stepping into the middle of the elevator.

"I was going to say that," Zander laughs. I forgot he was here.

"Nope. I get to be Patrick Swazye," I chuckle patting his back.

The elevator dings and we reach our destination. The foyer. "Bye Danny," I wave walking out the front door with Zander next to me.

"Bye Baby," Daniel yells from across the parking lot.

Zander walks faster to his car and I see his fist are clenched causing his knuckles to turn white. I'm not gonna push it any farther. I get in the car and he speeds off

"Where do you live?" He finally asks.

"Turn left at the next light," I instruct, "ooohhh can you stop McDonalds?" I ask turning to look at him.

"Yeah," is all he says and we pull into the closest Mickey Ds.

"You want anything? I'm buying," I ask while getting out of the car.

"No I'm good," he says a little harshly while getting out and locking the car.

"Okay then Mr.Grumpypants," I mumble under my breath.

I get my food and we head back to the car. When we get in Zander starts it and turns the radio on. The song No Guidance is on. And it's always on the radio. I start singing along anyways because it's catchy.

I stop singing and tell Zander to turn right.

"I didn't know you could sing," he speaks up

"You never asked," I respond.

"This is such an annoying song now," he adds.

"My house is right right there," I say pointing to the single family home.

He pulls up,"thanks for driving me home," I say while unbuckling my seat belt. He puts his hand on my upper arm.

"Wait, Daniel may seem like a nice guy, but he's not. Stay away from him. Please," he says sternly but his eyes were pleading with mine.

"I don't see what's so bad about him," I say quietly.

"And I really don't want you to see," he answers letting go of my arm.

"Thanks again," I say getting out of the car," see ya at school," I add.

Zander drives away when I reach my front door. I have to get ready for work. Shit I'm going to be late. It's already 7:00!
