i immediately got up and got dressed, i couldn't even text carl.
i saw my mom and sam sitting in the kitchen.
"ron, why are you ready for school?" she asked.
"because i am late" i admitted.
"no, today is a development day, you have it off. i found out at 5am" my mom said. thank god. i stayed back one year so i still am in school. im graduating this year.
i took a deep breath in relief and went back to my room. i changed back into comfy clothes and threw my backpack on the floor.
