I don't really know what this is. Erm...yeah. It's based off of Somebody Else by The 1975. I did it quickly so...
____________
"God damn it, Gordie!"
"Why are you so clingy?"
"We obviously aren't working, so why don't we just break up?"
"Fine!"
I don't want your body
But I hate to think about you
With somebody else
"C'mon Y/N, let's go out!" your friend said.
"Fine, just for tonight..." you caved.
You and your boyfriend of eight months, Gordie, had just had a harsh break-up and you weren't dealing with it so well. You really did love him, but at least you got out before you lost everything.
You and your friend got dressed and went to a popular night club in the middle of the city and immediately went to the bar to order drinks.
Our love has gone cold
You're intertwining your soul
With somebody else
On the other side of the club, Gordie had a drink in his hand and was looking at you, having a hard time to comprehend what feelings he had towards you. Your relationship had changed drastically. It went from being perfect, intense, passionate and envied, to this; broken, messy and painful.
You and your friend started to dance and laugh in the middle of the dance floor, when a guy came up to you and started to dance with you.
I'm looking through you
While you're looking through your phone (A/N: I know they don't have phones. Just go with it please...)
And then leaving
With somebody else
You were really having a great time with whomever you were dancing with. Gordie, however, did not like it one bit. He loathed that you were giving him your attention, but he really didn't want you anymore. He did love you, it's just that loved has died, and you could agree with it. But there was some still there, lingering.
No, I don't want your body
But I'm picturing your body
With somebody else
You left the club drunk with the guy you were dancing with. You were in his apartment kissing, but in the back of your head, all you could think of was Gordie. You were shocked that you wanted to move on so fast, you were ready to move on, really. You couldn't waste time wishing for someone who you were never going to get back.
Gordie was trying to get his shit together, telling himself that he had moved on, but he kept thinking of you. If only...
You were leaving that random guy's place. You didn't go through with it. It just felt really wrong and he was no Gordie.
Gordie was walking on the sidewalk thinking of all the girls to be his girlfriend, when in reality the only person he wanted was you.
Come on, baby
This ain't the last time
That I'll see your face
You bumped into someone walking back to your house. You looked up to see Gordie and instantly placed your lips on his, he didn't hesitate to kiss back.
"I love you, I miss you." you whispered to him.
"Good, I thought you had found somebody else."
