Chapter 28

Hey guys! Just a quick thing to note. I am typing this chapter at 10:05 on a tablet. So if something doesn't sound or look right, it's either cause of autocorrect or cause I don't know how to spell check! Lol! Anyway! Enjoy the chapter!

Aphmau's POV

I woke up and remembered what happened.

I realized Garroth wasn't in the bed anymore.

I looked at the clock.

3:30 A.M.

Next to the clock was a note.

' Hey Aphmau. I went back to the castle will your mom. She was worried about you until I said you were okay. You're being released today, so I'll pick you up. Love ya! -Garroth'

I smiled and lied back down staring at the ceiling.

I slowly fell back asleep while smiling.

Time Skip

I woke up again and looked at the clock.

8:00 A.M.

I heard a knock before seeing Dr. Doctor enter the room.

"Ms. Aphmau, I am here to make sure everything's okay before releasing you." He said looking at his clipboard.

"Oh, okay." I said sitting up.

He looked at the stitches to make sure none were loose.

They seemed to be fine.

Though when he touched them it kinda hurt.

I knew that my arm would be sore for a while, but still I didn't think it would be this sore.

Oh well.

Guess that's something I gotta get used to.

"Well, everything seems to be fine.You are free to leave." Dr. Doctor said.

Next thing you know, Garroth is at the door, smiling at me.

I return a small smile and get out of the hospital bed.

"Thank you Dr. Doctor." I said cheerfully.

"Remember Ms. Aphmau, please come back in two weeks just to check on your arm." He said walking us out of the room.

I nodded politely.

Garroth was beside me as we walked out.

After we were out of the hospital, Garroth engulfed me into a hug.

I was shocked at first until I realized that had been worried the whole time.

"I am so sorry, Aphmau. I didn't mean for this to happen."He whispered into my ear.

Why was he apologizing?

"What did you do?" I asked confused.

Garroth broke away from the hug and pointed to my stitches.

A quiet "Oh" escaped my mouth.

"It's fine Garroth, really. It was an accident, you didn't see it coming." I said giving him a hug.

He smiled at me before grabbing my hand.

I smiled at him as we walked back home.

"So, now that you can't spar for awhile, what would we do?" Garroth asked me.
I didn't know honestly.

I couldn't really use my arm without it hurting so I just wanted to be around Garroth and spend time with him.

"Well, that depends. Do you have anything planned?" I asked hoping he said yes.

"Maybe. I do however want to take a certain someone out for the day." He said smiling at me.

"Oh? And who might that certain someone be hmm?" I asked playfully knowing it was me.

He stopped walking turn to face me and kissed my forehead.

"You. I want to take you out all day to celebrate your release from the hospital." He said putting his arm around me.

Well then, let's not waste the day." I said smiling while giving him a peck on the cheek.

Tehe! Here's the next chapter! So it's really late. I know. Sorry bout this crazy late post, but it was either this or no chapter. Anyway so last time I talked to you guys was in an update note saying I wasn't updating. The reason behind that is the fact that my friend and I kinda got in a "fight" because I was being a stubborn LimaBeany. He asked I question I answered then he said some thing about him being nothing. I kept saying it wasn't true. He then asked why i thought that. I let my emotions blind me. Let me quote my words for you. "Why?! Because you're my BESTFRIEND! And the person I just so happened to like for 3 years straight!" Isiad that to him and he went quiet. I looked down and waited for his reaction. His reaction was running away from me. I was left to walk home while crying. Yeah. Lesson for me: Don't be such a stubborn LimaBeany. Anyway!
