Chapter 16

Chapter 16:(Vote & Comment!)

“You fucker, missed me.” I said as I did a 360 degrees kick landing on his chest. “I’m sure as fuck I did.”

Lucifer laid on the ground, eyes wide open. I shrugged as I ran his way kicking his jaw.

“Get up.” I ordered.

He couldn’t use his powers against me or they’d return back to me. He and I both knew it.

“How’s that possible?” He asked clearly more confused than ever.

I smirked, “Magic.” I said in an advertising tone.

I then did a spear hand position, jabbed my fingers into his solar plexus, winding him. Directly after I stroked his solar plexus, I shot my hand up his body, aiming to chop into the side of his neck. I swiftly turned and kicked him in the front of the kneecap. He stumbled back a few steps. I grabbed the back of his head and smashed my knee in his face.

I swirled around my back hand to give him the impression that a heavy hook was coming up, while I used my lead hand to land a powerful blow. Lucifer fell on his back still not being able to believe what was happening.

I then grabbed him by the shoulders and cocked the back of my hand for extra extension, and delivered the haymaker in wide semi-circular looping fashion. I wanted to drop him unconscious.

“Now, you die.” I said clearly aware I was talking to the Devil.

I carried a rock and was about to smash it in his face as he set me flying in thin air. He did the forbidden thing. My powers came crashing back into me. It took him a moment to realize what he just did.

“Are you an idiot? Or is there some school were they teach you that?” I said as I felt the flame in my eyes return.

I looked at my hands and found both lit up on fire. I smiled. It was good to have back what was yours.

“Any last words?” I said as I grinned.

I clenched my fingers ready to make the final move and end the world from Lucifer. Instead, I felt a hand on my shoulder freezing me.

“Don’t do it Alex; your dark powers are consuming you.”

I looked back to see those same green eyes that saved me the last time I lost it. My brother hugged me really tightly. I never wanted to let him go.

“I don’t think I can stop this madness. The Attpads are powerful. Lucifer won’t fall down.”

“It’s okay baby girl. At least we tried.” He said that as he caressed my hair.

He let me go and held my shoulders looking me straight in the eyes, “It’ll be okay.”

“I hope.” I smiled at him.

“Alex!” John said from behind me.

I looked at Will as he mouthed me go. Rachel came and hugged him. I ran towards John and leaped into his arms.

“God I’ve missed you.” He said as he lifted me up wrapping my legs around his waist.

“I’ve missed you too.” I hugged him tight.

I then did the obvious thing, not caring about the war around us; I kissed him. It started like a soft peck on the lips but his fingers found their way to the back of my head and pulled me closer. We deepened the kiss and his lips brushed mine.

As we stopped to take a breath he whispered in my ear, allowing his hot breath to send tingles down my neck. “I love you.” He said and he poked me in the stomach making me laugh.

“Sorry to inform you, but we are at war.” I said in between giggles.

“I know.” He said as he placed his hands on my waist pulling me closer.

I leaned in for a kiss and slapped him hard on the face instead. The impact was heard all over the battle arena.

“Ouch.” I heard Luke say. “That must’ve hurt.”

“Touché” My brother added.

“What was that for?” John said as he placed his hand on his cheek.

“You made me forget you. That’s why.” I grinned at him.

“It was for a good purpose-”

“Good purpose my ass; do you know how many times I dreamt about you?”

“I can explain.” He said as he raised his hands in an innocent way.

I raised my hand to land another blow on his face as his hands quickly hid his face.

“Okay, I’m sorry! It was a good idea at the time.” He said as he peeked at me through his fingers.

He looked so damn cute. I struggled not to burst out laughing to keep my serious tone but I just couldn’t.

“That proves how much of an idiot you are!” I said laughing.

“Well the fact I’m in love with you proves it.”

“Oh please, you’re blessed with my love.” I said as I flipped my hair.

“I don’t know why you love her man.” Luke said. “She might be hot as hell but she is sassy.”

“I don’t know why I love her either.” He said and kissed me.

For a mere second we forgot we were at war, and loosing. Not to mention some of our friends dead. We then felt a blow that set us all flying in the air.

“It’s not over bitches.” Lucifer said as he had us all in his grip.

“Master Nokha, shouldn’t we tell them?” A voice barely whispered.

“My dear servant Ouis now is not the time.” The big foot that talked to Alex before said.

“But they must now. This secret could be the en-”

“-Let’s survive this and worry about Casus’ secret later? We will have time to tell them the truth later on.” Nokha said before he disappeared.

I struggled to get loose from his hold but it was so firm. It almost felt like it was draining me out. John and the others felt that too. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find the kids.

“Drew, Jonan!” I yelled.

Where the hell were they? That was when I glanced a faint image of two kids walking down to the middle of the arena. They held each other’s hands and closed their eyes.  A red orbit began to flow from them.

We all fell down flat on the stomach. I raised my head up to see Lucifer struggling to get up. The red orbit must have done something to him. No shit Sherlock! You should be the next Conan too, my mind muttered to itself.

The red orbit started to grow higher and wider. Anything it came in contact with turned to little dust. My eyes flew wide open. They are capable of death and life.

The words came back to me. What if they can kill all of us? I looked up again to see the Devil disappear in this air as Aniokh yelled in pain before he fell on his knees. The red orbit grew bigger and erupted sending all of us miles away. I felt my skin burn and heard the faint yells of everyone. We were turning around the kids as they formed a huge red tornado from the orbit.

I felt a hand touch mine, it was Will. I clutched to his hand as if it’s life itself and closed my eyes shut. We kept spinning fast until we all fell on the ground. I couldn’t feel anything at all. Everything after that went black.
