All the soldiers had to gather together on base. I had to stand up by my dad because I was one of the leaders. Logan walked up towards me and shot me a look before standing next to me. As the soldiers filed in, they started to whisper when they looked up to see they're leaders. Most of them gave me a disgusted look. I looked among the crowd trying to figure out how many angels have gathered. There were at least 100 angels out on the base floor. I started to get nervous. As I look at the crowd, I figure maybe half of them probably hate me. I've never lead an army with angels hating me. It'll be dangerous leading an army of hateful angels. I'm more likely to get killed by my own kind then by a demon.

"Attention everyone. You all know why you've gathered here. Twenty-one angels were killed out of random yesterday. The cause of it? Demons. We can't let demons push us around. We're angels, we're so much more powerful then they are. So lets show them. At midnight, we're going on a demon hunting spree," Kaleb speeches.

The room was suddenly filled with cheers. Angels were shouting and jumping with excitement. I was in shock. Normally I would be all for it, but Toby is out there. Devil or not, they'd kill him right on the spot. I can't let that happen.

"These will be the angels who will lead you out into battle," he stated.

"Are you sure one of them is an angel?" questioned an angel in the back. The cheers of agreement filled the room.

"How do you know she's not working with them? The demons are talking about her. How do you know she's not with them?" another yelled.

I straighten my stance and continued to look out towards the crowd. Kaleb was trying to calm them down. I take back what I said about half of them hating me. All of them hated me. They were practically in a riot, but Kaleb was able to get them to calm down.

I cleared my throat. Time to wing it, "Excuse me. If you don't want me to go out, I don't have to. There are other leaders up here that could do it. I don't have too."

"Your our top soldier. You were born to do this," Kaleb said looking at me with sad eyes.

"Things change," I stated. I hesitated before continuing, "I'm stepping down from my position. They don't want me here and frankly I don't want to be here either."

As I stepped off the stage, angels cheered in the background. I felt humiliated and sick. I know I'm dating the devil but its not like I hate them. They all hate me for asking a question. Just a simple question.

Angels murmured things like traitor, demon and monster as I walked past them. They're acting like I killed the twenty-one angels. This is ridiculous. I have more important things to take care of. I need to find Toby before they do.

I fly to the cabin to gather a couple of my things. I walked outside and stopped to take a look around. This will probably be the last time I see this memory. I'll either die or fall tomorrow. I loved this place. I started to cry. This was the place I went to when I was scared. I'm terrified and this will be the last time I see it.

I looked at the cabin one more time before heading to Earth. I couldn't find Toby so I just decided to lay low and try to figure out my plan. I honestly had no idea what I was doing. I had angels and demons coming for me.

"Well look who's here. Heaven's sweet little angel," said a snickering voice next to me.

I didn't even flinch, "You didn't hear? I quit today."

The person walked out from behind a tree. It was the girl from the mountain. I sighed. I don't understand why she's always here.

"Why is it that whenever I'm on Earth your always here to keep me company," I say finally looking at her with a smirk.

"Your just interesting to watch and hang around. It's not everyday you see an angel hanging around a demon," she replied.

I laughed, "Yeah I guess you don't see that everyday, but to be honest, you guys aren't that bad."

She smiled, "We'll I've only seen one angel be nice to one of us and that's you. So I can't really say that all you guys are nice but your alright. So why'd you quit?"

"A few demons yesterday killed twenty-one angels. Heaven is preparing for war and they wanted me to lead," I confessed, "I couldn't do it though. Maybe a couple weeks ago I could of but now that I'm with Toby and everything, I just can't do it."

I could see her become uneasy, which I figured. She's sitting with someone who use to enjoy killing demons. I would be scared but I have so many mixed emotions right now, I just can't seem to feel anything right now.

"When I found you two yesterday, I was mad yes but I'm not stupid enough to tell anyone or start a war. There were other demons with me when I found you guys. Lets just say they were pissed too," she confessed.

"You think they'd start a war," I asked.

She shrugged her shoulder, "I don't know. Maybe."

"Great," I murmured, "You wouldn't have any idea where satan would be, would you?"

"No but I can help you look for him," she replied.

I smiled, "Thanks. I would appreciate the help."

We started to walk away when something came across my mind, "Oh yeah. I never asked this. What's your name?"

She smiled, "Jennifer. My name is Jennifer."

I shook her hand, "My name is Elizabeth."

We started to go out and look for Toby. I finally knew her name. I looked over at her. I would have never expected this to happen. When the world was against me, my only companion was a demon and the devil.
