Rachel ran over and pushed Toby off of me. I was in so much shock that I just laid there on the floor motionless. After a few seconds Rachel ran over and picked me off the ground. I slowly got up and she started to brush dirt and dust off me. Toby slowly got up. He never took his eyes off of me, not once. I kept looking over at Rachel and then back at Toby. I couldn't stop looking back at him.

"I knew I would find you again," he said smiling at me.

"Find me," I sarcastically said, "you left me behind at the hospital!"

He looked hurt. It looked like I just struck him with a dagger. Toby slowly walked towards me with sadness written on his face.

"No I didn't leave you. I came on the wrong date. I really wanted to be there, I promise," Toby pleaded.

Allie came up to me and held my hand, "Lizzy! It's the guy on the computer!"

Rachel walked over to me, "Elizabeth...why did the guy on Youtube just tackle you?"

I turned towards her, "Remember when I told you about my car accident. Well he was the one in the car with me."

"The love of your life!?" she shrieked with happiness.

I shushed her and tried to turn down her happiness level. I didn't want him to know I refer to him as the love of my life. I was still upset with him.

"You called me the love of your life," he questioned me with a smirk.

"No," I said clearing my throat, "no I did not."

"Elizabeth. I was going to meet you back at the hospital but I went on the wrong day. When I went in, they told me you were already gone. They had no records of you. No birth certificate, license, hell you didn't even have a phone number," he walked towards me and grabbed my hand slowly, "I tried looking for you for months. I kept looking and looking. I just couldn't give up on my little nugget."

Tears started to fill up in my eyes. He kept looking for me? I thought he just didn't really remember me. Lucifer and I knew each other really well but Toby and I never really had a chance to talk. Even with the devil out of his body, I still felt connected to him. I wondered if he felt the same connection as well.

Toby grabbed my other hand and smiled down on me. He then pushed the hair out of my face and leaned in for a kiss. When our lips touched, this sensation flowed through my body. I missed this. I missed this feeling, this warm feeling when I'm with him. I heard Rachel squeal behind me. I couldn't help but laugh.

"So does this mean you forgive me," he asked giving me the puppy eyes.

I gave him a serious face and then smiled, "Yes I forgive you."

He smiled and then pulled me into a tight hug. For a guy who just makes videos and plays videogames, he was really strong. All of a sudden I felt this tingling feeling in my back. It was a weird sensation. It didn't feel good but at the same time I wasn't really in pain. As much as I wanted to know what that was, Toby kept distracting me. The crowd around us cheered with glee.

I never realized how many people were around us. It was a different crowd. These humans cheered for our love. They don't even realize that I was banished from my home because of it. I smiled at the people around us. The crowd didn't make me nervous or afraid of being judged. I saw happiness in their eyes and that was enough for me.

After that we left the coffee shop and found a park so Allie could run around. I introduced Rachel to Toby properly. She slapped him across the face for leaving me and making me sad, but then immediately reached out and hugged him for making me happy again. I smiled at how much they were getting along. This is what I always wanted and so much more.

It was getting late and we all decided it was time to head home. Now the tough decision was upon me. Stay with Rachel or leave with Toby. I couldn't decide where to go. Luckily Rachel insisted with me going with Toby. She said we needed some catching up to do, as she winked at me. I couldn't help but laugh. I kissed Allie goodbye and climbed into Toby's car.

"So you got a new car I see," I chuckled looking around.

"Yes. Well it's a rental but still," he laughed.

The entire ride to his house was full of laughter and stories. As much as I liked the devil Toby, I was falling completely head over heels for this Toby as well. He told me all of these great stories but I couldn't tell him any of mine. As much as he was there for part of my angel life, he wasn't really THERE there. I just talked about the friends that I had. Toby told me all of these great stories about his college life, his videos and this tv show he was in.

We finally reached his house and walked inside. Sprinting to the door was this excited little dog running over to the door. He was so excited to see Toby. Then it slowly came up to me and started sniffing me.

I laughed, "You probably smell my puppy don't you?"

"You have a puppy?" Toby asked with excited eyes.

"Yes I do. He's a yellow lab and his name is Nugget," I said while petting his dog.

He leaned on me and elbowed me a bit, "Nugget huh? I wonder where you got that name from."

I chuckled, "I actually didn't pick the name. Allie did."

After he introduced his dog Gryphon to me, he decided to make us dinner. He said he really wasn't the best cook in the world so we ate cereal. We talked more about our lives. He seemed to be living the dream. I just recently started living mine. After we ate dinner we decided to lay down for the night.

"So do you want me to go lay on the couch or do you have a spare room somewhere," I asked shyly looking around.

He grabbed my hand and led me into a bedroom, "You can sleep with me."

"No. No that's okay. I don't want to bug you all night. I can just sleep on the couch or something," I tried saying but he insisted.

"I want you to sleep here. You can pick which ever side you want and you can lay next to me," he said with a smile.

I smiled back at him and climbed into bed. He climbed in after me and wrapped his arms around me. This is where I've been wanting to be for a while. Warm in Toby's arms. Soon after we laid down Toby was fast asleep. He started to snore a bit and I couldn't help but giggle. I closed my eyes and smiled. This is it. This is what I've always wanted. Just to be alone with Toby. No angels barging in, no demons trying to kill us, and no punishments.

My eyes shot open when I forgot about why my back what making that funny feeling. I slowly crawled out of bed without waking up Toby. I finally found the bathroom, turned on the light, lifted up the back of my shirt, and looked in the mirror. I gasped at the sight at what was there. I was so happy that tears were flowing down my face. I had black angels wings tattooed onto my skin. It went from my shoulders all the way down to my lower back. Even though they weren't real, they still felt so elegant on my back. I felt like an angel again.

When angels were officially guardian angels, their wings would change color or glow brighter than ever before. You could say becoming a guardian meant you finally earned your wings. I leaned against the doorframe, looking over at Toby sleeping. When I forgave Toby, I earned my wings. I earned them in my own special way. It was like me becoming a guardian for Toby. In a way though I feel like Toby was a guardian for me. We were each others own little fallen guardian angel.
