I woke up in Laurance's arms. I blushed. I think I like him. Maybe love him. I have no idea yet.
"I need to tell him..." I said. "Tell who what?" Laurence asked. "O-oh uhm..." I started, "well I think I like you. Maybe love you. We started off at a really bad start, but I thi--" I was interrupted by Laurence kissing me. I kissed back. "I guess I do love you." I mumbled. "And I guess I love you too." He mumbled back. "Wanna go and have a sparring match?! Bet you 5$ I'll beat you Aph!" He asked me. "Phhh....yeah right." I told him, "try me!" "Ok let's go!" He yelled. We ran out of the room and went into the woods and started sparring. Laurence was really good after all. I still knocked him down though. I started to laugh. "Not that bad Laurence." I told him. "Thank you, Thank you." He said with a weird voice. We heard footsteps. "Oh great," I whispered to him, "this always happens. Get ready to fight." We hid behind the bushes but, all we saw was a little girl with brown hair and crazy looking eyes. Nothing like I've ever seen before. They were like green, yellow, brown, and blue. All in one! I put down my sword. I got up and asked her some questions. "Hi. Are you lost?" I asked her. "Yeah, my mom was left back there behind me. She said she would be right with me because she was fighting some crazy monster looking people. I think she died during battle. And I don't know what I'm going to do without her..." She burst into tears. "Shh...ill take you in. Give you a nice home and friends and food too. I know how it feels when you lose your family. I lost my whole family to a fire in my old village. Don't worry. You'll be safe with me. That's only if you would like to come back to our village. Would you?" I asked her. "Yes. That would be great. Thank you so much!" She hugged me. "Once we get to the village, we will set out a search for your mom and we will try to find her don't worry. By the way, what is your name?" I asked her quietly. "It's Maddi." She told me. "I love it. Mine is Aphmau." I pointed for Laurence to come out of the bushes, "and this is Laurence." I pointed at him. "If we don't find my parents...are you two going to be my parents?" She asked as we were walking back to Phoenix Drop. "Oh...no we are just friends." I assured her. "Oh ok. Cool" she said back. "Yeah...but you will learn more and more about each and every one of us and there is a lot to know about me. So, we are barely there yet because you only know my name." I told her. We finally arrived at Phoenix Drop's gates. "Welcome to Phoenix Drop!" I told her.
