Unexpected love

New beginings

After we kissed I looked him strait in the eyes. He smiled. I blushed.

"So, what now?"
I asked.

"Let's finish our pizza and then we'll go somewhere."
He suggested.

"Where?"
I asked.

"It's a surprise. Now eat."
He laughed.

I ate a couple pieces and when I was full I stood out of my chair. I went to put my shoes on and Cam did the same. I grabbed my purse and we headed to his car.

When we were inside I asked,

"Can you just give me a hint? Pleaseeeee."
I stuck out my lip and pouted.

"Nope."
He said popping the "p".

"Fine."
I sighed.

I hate surprises.

When we got there I unbuckled and Cameron opened my door for me.

"M'lady."
He said with a grin.

"Why thank you kind sir."
I said and we both laughed.

Once I got out I stood in awe. We were at a beach. I saw a table with rose petals, a huge teddy bear, and speakers playing my favorite songs. There was an umbrella over it because it was hot out today. I looked at him and he smiled.

"You did all of this for me?"
I asked.

"Of course, your my best friend and I care about you. This whole thing with Brent must be horrible for you. I'm just here for you. And I also have a question to ask you."

He added that last part shyly.

I just smiled. He took my hand and led me to the table. I could hear my phone ringing from the car. I just shrugged. I don't feel like talking or being with anyone else but Cameron.

"So what's your question?"
I asked sweetly. Relieved that my phone stopped ringing.

"I really like you. And I know your going through a tough time right now because of Brent and I know it's a long shot because you've said no bef-"

I cut him off by kissing him. It's like our lips were made for each other. When we pulled away I said,

"Yes. I will go out with you."

He smiled widely and hugged me. When we pulled away I grabbed my flowers and smelled them. I love roses. And they were white. My favorite.

"Why do you have red rose petals all around and white ones for me?"
I asked curiously.

"I did that because you are different from all the girls in school and I love that you aren't anything like some of them. Your more beautiful, kind, smart, and I love you more than any girl I've ever met here."
He stated.

I just looked at him and smiled.

"Thank you Cam. I love you too."
I pecked him on the cheek.

After talking and me obsessing over the life sized bear he got me he asked if I wanted to go swimming.

"I don't have my bathing suit with me."
I blushed.

"I know, just go in your bra and underwear. It's basically the same as a bikini."
He shrugged.

     I'm very self conscious of my body. Although I wouldn't put myself in the "Fat" category, I'm still shy about my body.

"I don't know...."
I said shyly.

"Come oonnnnnn pleasssseeee?"
He pouted.

"Fine. But it's only because I don't have my bathing suit."
I stated.

"Yay! Let's go."
He sprung up out of his chair.

      I laughed and walked towards the water. When we got to the water, he took of his shirt. He was wearing shorts so he is just staying in them. I took off my skirt and tank and put hair up in a messy bun.

"Wow, your so beautiful."
He said.

"Thanks."
I blushed.

He took my hand and led me further into the water.

*15 mins later*

"Ummm purple."
I guessed.

He dipped my head under water.
We were playing colors. I love this game, but I haven't guessed his color for 10 minutes.

"Magenta."
I said very unsure.

"Nope."
He laughed and dipped me.

"Can I have a hint?"
I asked. Wiping the water from my eyes.

"Fine. It's a type of blue."
He said smirking.

"Ummmm. Indigo!"
I yelled.

When he flipped me let out a little shriek. When I came up out of the water I gasped for air. Me and Cam started laughing.

"Phew glad that's over."
I said.

He laughed and asked if I was ready to go home. I nodded and we went back to put our clothes on. When I was finished I said,

"Thank you Cameron so much for today. It's the best thing a guys ever done for me."

Then I smiled.

"It's the least I could do after what you've been through."
He said.

Then we kissed. Kissing Cameron is amazing. Even when I kissed Brent it was nothing, compared to what I have with Cam. When we pulled away he took my hand and we went to his car.

When I got home I saw my mom cooking dinner on the stove. She must have saw the huge grin planted on my face before she said,

"So where were you all day missy?"
She laughed.

"Oh you know, just studying."
