Sorting it out

"Brent? What are you doing here?"

I honestly didn't know what to feel about this. I'm angry, confused, and sad. Why is he here?

" I just felt bad doing things over a text. I needed to see you."

He looked at me with concern.

" Well? Do you expect me to be happy to see you?"
I spat.

" No. I don't. I wouldn't be surprised if you hated me Tess. I've been such a jerk. I practically told you that I was never going to see you again over a text. And if I were you I wouldn't be happy either."
He explained.

" Well I'm fine now. Thanks. But why did you come all the way here just to say that?"
I asked.

"I didn't. I came to do this."

He kissed me. I pulled away and slapped him in the face.

"Are you kidding me?! Are you out of your fucking mind? I'm dating Cameron! And you have no right to dump me and them come here and just kiss me out of no where. I think you should leave now."

He looked at me with regret in his eyes even though it seemed as if he couldn't even mouth the words 'I'm sorry'.

"Bye Tess.."
He said as he walked out the door.

What just happened?

I heard my doorbell ring and opened it.

"Brent I told you to go awa-"
I yelled.

"Sorry Mandy. I thought you were someone else."
I sniffled.

"It's fine but what just happened? I thought Brent was staying in Montana. And what's going with you and Cameron?"
She asked.

I already told her about Brent and stuff but not about Cameron and our trip to the beach.

After I explained it all she said,

"You went swimming with Cameron in only your bra and underwear?!"
She exclaimed.

"Shhhhhh! Yes. I did. And he asked me to be his girlfriend so, I said yes."
I explained.

"Eeeekkk! That's so cute! Let's see. Ship name is..... Tameron! I love it!"
She shrieked.

Did I ever mention she's like the perkiest person on the planet? She always wants to talk.  talk. talk. And I don't really mind it, but sometimes it gets annoying.

"Yeah. It's pretty nice. He's super cute and nice. Oh and he's such a gentleman. Like how many guys left on this planet are gentleman?"

I laughed.

"Trueeee."
She agreed.

"So how are things with you and Matt?"

"Great! We hung out yesterday and he's awesome. He always flirts with me it's not even funny."
She giggled.

"Cool. We should plan a double date or something."
I suggested.

"Sure! That would fun. Matt and I were planning a night out anyway."
She said.

"Ok. Want something to eat I'm starvingggg."
I held my stomach.

"Sure. I'll order a pizza."
She said.

"Ok."
I said.

I'm so glad I got to have some girl time with Mandy. It's not like I get it very often so it's nice when I do.
When the pizza man came we took the pizza and practically devoured it.
After we ate, Mandy's mom wanted to come home so she left.

When she left I ran the hot water in my tub to take a hot bath. When it was full I stepped inside and let all my troubles float away in the steamy water.
