~Maybe sometimes people don't actually change. Maybe you just never knew who they actually were.~

Ronnie

I don't work on the weekends so i got to sleep in all Saturday morning. Sunlight beams flow in through illuminating the white room. For some reason the first thing that came to mind was Aspen. Her long, flowy, blonde hair and undecided blue gray eyes. She had some sort of angelic vibe drawing me in closer.

I sit up and rub my eyes. I make my way towards Nessa's small room. It was a light pink shade with a small bed and mint green covers. There were pastel butterflies hanging on one of the walls and a small mint green tent sent up with her toys scattered inside.

She peeks out of her covers and smiles at me. "Daddy!"

I go over to her and help her out of her bed. I reach over the small fence that keeps her from falling out and help her out. I set her on the ground and she makes her way to the pink hand bag Aspen gave her and handed me one of the dolls.

"Play."

That's how i spent my whole Saturday morning. Around lunch, i got a phone call from an unknown number. I ignored it the first 2 times and i finally answered on the 3rd. This person was seriously irritating me. I pressed the answer button and right away the first thing i herd was the high pitched squeal coming from a girl.

"You finally answered!" Piper says too loudly for my liking.

I mentally groan. "Hey Piper-"

She cuts me off before i could finish. "So you wanna have brunch today?"

"Uh n-"

She cuts me off again. "Great meet me at the Irish Men's Cafe. I'll text you the address. Be there in about a half hour. Bye!"

She basically forced me into going on a brunch date with her. I clearly told her that our hookup was a one time thing and was a mistake, but of course she wouldn't leave me alone. Aspen then rushed into my mind and the fact that she was mad at me for the hook up killed me one the inside.

Thinking of her felt like thousands of knives stinking deeper into my heart and shooting a sharp spear into my stomach. This wasn't a mental thing though, it felt so real that i had to sit down and clutch my chest from how much it hurt.

Did i really develop deep feelings for Aspen so fast? Plus I'm too old for her. That thought felt like a bullet shooting me. Her parents wouldn't approve. Another bullet going through my heart. She deserves better, like a model that makes millions. With blue eyes and blonde hair. Someone like her, perfect, wealthy, respected.

She deserves someone who can take care of her and give her everything she wants. She needs someone who will spoil her rotten and will take her on dinner date in Paris every night. She should be with a guy that won't ever hurt her once and will bring a smile onto her face instead of a deep, unapproving frown.

I got dressed in a pair of light blue jeans and a plain white shirt. I pulled on my Jordan 6s Sport Blue's. I then dropped off Nessa with my dad for a while and started following the directions to Irish Men's Cafe. When i arrived, I saw Piper leaning on her white Ferrari with a long, skin tight, red dress with a long slit down the left leg.

"Ronnie!" She says hugging me and suddenly i see a camera flash.

"What was that?" I ask.

She rolls her eyes. "Paparazzi. Come on lets go eat!"

She take hold of my hand and we go inside the cafe. It smells like coffee and blueberries. We take a seat by the huge, glass window facing a beautiful lake. I look at Piper to see a whole new side of her. She is actually very stunning.

Her hair is a Strawberry blonde unlike Aspen who has very light, spotless, blonde hair. Piper's eyes were a bright green color and you can clearly see she tries to hide her freckles with makeup. She lips are plump like Aspen's, but her's are a very light pink while her sister's are a reddish pink.

Piper sends me an award winning smile showing off her slight dimples. I guess Piper wasn't as bad. I smiled back at her. I kinda like Piper a bit more than Aspen more. That hurt to say, but it also felt like a huge weight has been removed from my shoulders.

"You are very beautiful, Piper." I say making a light pink blush cover she cheeks.

She places her hand on mine's. "So Ronnie, tell me about yourself."
