Sosuke x Reader (Fluff) ~ Midnight Kisses

Author's Note: My first one-shot is dedicated to one of my best friends, Anna! Happy Birthday <3 Ily!

It was just past midnight, and I rolled over to see Sousuke sleeping peacefully. Every breath he took caused his chest to rise and fall, and every breath lifted up stray black hairs that lay on his pale face. I look out the open window and watch the stars as they wink back at me, the moon waving to me as I rest. 

I inhale cool Autumn air and turn to face my boyfriend of 18 months. His eyes stay closed as breaths escape his slightly open mouth. I smile and sigh, letting a joyful aroma that fills the room take me to another world. 

"Mm, (Name) ?" I hear Sousuke murmur as I gently shift my position in our cosy bed. 

"Yes?" I whisper back.

"I love you,"

As the words escaped his lips, butterflies dance inside my stomach, rising up into my lungs where a shaken breath was taken.

"I love you too," 

He moves closer towards my form and wraps his broad arms around my figure. He rests his head on my shoulder and kisses my neck, sending unbelievable shivers down my spine. He strokes my hair with his hand and a moan escapes my lips. 

"Shhh," Sousuke whispers into my neck. "It's time to rest now," 

"But I'm not tired," I smirk.

"Mm, okay," Sousuke chuckled, sitting up in bed. He leaned over my body and reached for the lamp switch which he turned on, dimly lighting the room. He gathered pillows and set them up at the bed head, and threw on a few extra blankets for warmth. 

He tucked me into bed and then got out. He left the room and I sat worried until he came back with two hot chocolates and snacks. He got into the blankets and handed me a mug. It's warmth on my hands gave me a sense of comfort and as I drank it I felt the liquid fall down deep into my throat. 

We snacked on pretzels, popcorn and plenty of (Desired Snack). We watched Anime and chatted until the stars outside began to fade into the pale blue sky. The sun greeted us good morning as we turned off the lamp light. 

"I love you so much, (Name). You are the most beautiful thing in the world to me. I wouldn't need the sun in the day, or the stars in the night, if I had you with me forever..."

"Sousuke," I choked.

His lips pulled onto mine, his warm lips connected with my own, and our souls conjoined as one pure being. 

"You are my world, (Name). My sun and my stars. My sky and my moon. Stay with me forever," 

"I promise Sousuke. I love you and will never leave you," I kiss the male again on his blushing cheek. We then return to our position, my body rested neatly in his chest and I close my eyes to sleep.
