chapter five: more friends

"Yo Lizzie!"

"Huh?" I look around for Theo.

"Over here!" I notice him and three other people walking towards me.

Nick, Jake and Gray.

"How are you?" he asks, grinning.

"I'm alright," I say. I look at Nick, Jake and Gray.

"Oh, right, Lizzie, this is Nick,  Gray and Jake, as you probably might know, guys this is Lizzie, but you guys call her Anna," he winks.

"Why? Isn't her name Anna anyway?" Gray snorts.

I just keep thinking about how these people, I've known them all my life but I don't know anything about them.

"Hey, there," I say awkwardly.

"Lizzie, Lizzie, Lizzie," Theo says faking disappointment, "you must talk to them like you would talk to your family."

"Okay?" I ask, still awkward. Little does he know about my bipolar abusive parents who hate me so much.

"Hey! None of this awkwardness!" he tsks, "Hey Nick, say something stupid," he urges.

Nick, who is just staring into space, jumps back into this time and day and the first thing he says is, "Meerkat?"

I cover my mouth, trying to stifle a laugh.

"Where the heck did you get 'Meerkat' from?" Jake says amusedly, bonking Nick over the head.

Nick, is built, probably the tallest out of the four and is blonde, with hazel eyes. He seems to be the type who talk alot and would probably be very good at sports, but if he's friends with Theo then he must be a good enough guy.

Jake, is average to say the least, he has blue eyes, but not as bright as Theo's, his hair is a light brown, a lot like mine and from what can tell he doesn't really talk much.

And the last of the squad, Gray, his hair is so blonde its practically white, and his grey eyes match his name. He looks like he is confident, though he should be because he looks the part and from what I've seen around school, he is. He's very loud and he doesn't sugarcoat, but he isn't cruel.

Gray snickers, "Chase, why don't you just shut up and let us introduce ourselves, okay?" he puts his hand out to shake, " I am Grayson Chambers, and my question is..." He pauses for affect and puts on a dazzling smile, one thing I've neglected to mention is that Gray is very good with the ladies, but he isn't a player, "Can I have your number?"

Uhhh

"Oh no not for that," he smirks, "I mean as a friend," he says.

"Okay, if you want to, " I say unsure but give him the phone nonetheless.

"Hey! What about the rest of us?" Nick says. "We should get her number aswell."

"Nah, mate you can go get that meerkat's number, she's currently being studied in the science classroom right now," Theo says, rolling his eyes, all of them snicker.

"Okay, my turn," Nick says, " I am Nicholas Dancer, and no I can't dance," He grins. I can see why they all hang out together, "What is your ethnicity?"

That was a question that wasn't a surprise, "Australian, though I don't look it," I say. I was born with tan skin where my parents were like snow but I had inherited my mother's hair, though I didn't get either of their blue eyes. Not fair. I favour my mother and hardly have any resembance to my father.

"Hmm," Nick says, squinting at me.

"Okay can we hurry up, I'm hungry," Theo whines.

"Alright, I'm Jacob Morgan and my question is, that where did you get that bruise from?" He asks pointing to my temple.

I open my mouth surprised, I've never had to explain my cuts and bruises before, because I didn't have anyone to explain them to. Theo nudges Jake to shut up. "What? We all wanna know," He says.

"Umm, I fell down," I lie, although, it wasn't actually a lie, it was partially true.

"Really?" Jake laughs, "we all thought you were some fighter chick, cos we always see you with bruises and cuts."

I laugh, but my heart's not into it, "No, no fighting on my end," I say and it couldn't be any truer.

okay i know i've been gone for months, and no i dont have an excuse. THo i am very sorry tho, because i know how annoying it us to wait for authors to update. But i have no excuse but i do have an apology.

moving on

how was this chapter, brought in some fresh blood to play with, hehehe

hmmm, what do you think of the lads?

Nick? does he seem smart?

Jake? He's a little too observant, isn't he?

and what about Gray? He seems like he could be an interest.... Maybe??

Theo is still  bae tho.
