Inner Darkness

Everyone was now looking at Lilith and now surprised that she was awake. Andrew walked over to her to see if she was okay but she just brushed him off. Brian was now observing Lilith and asked her, "What makes you think that you are the baby with darkness in your heart? It could be anyone."

"I don't really know. It just popped up in my head," she said looking at her hand.

"Okay, how does that kind of answer just pop in your head?" Matthew asks looking at her like he was angry at her.

"I don't know, why don't you ask my head," she shot back at him, defensively.

"Hey, don't talk to him like that," Allison said to Lilith.

Lilith turned towards Allison and said, "No, I can talk to him however I want to talk to him."

"No you can't. That's rude, and you can't ignore a request from someone of higher class than you."

"I'm sorry Princess but here in the real world, I don't have to listen to your stupid little request. Plus, I believe in your head you meant the word command. Not everyone has to listen to a spoiled brat like you," Lilith said and Allison gasps at the words spoiled brat. In the back, Alex was silently laughing. Allison saw him laughing and threw the nearest pillow at him.

Alex caught the pillow and said, "It's not nice to throw things at other people Allison."

"Says the guy that was always stealing things from stores, people and even on tests. Let's be honest here, you will be the first one to throw something at someone just for 'fun', but you and I both know that it is just for attention," Lilith said. Alex gave her a shocked face and she shrugged.

"Hey quit attacking people like that," Daniel and James said at the exact same time.

"That's cute how you both think of the same thing. Hey, do us all a favor and quit the nice act, it's not helping you in any way. James, I know that you did something to someone, not just because of your sister, because of full hatred. And Daniel, I'm pretty sure we all know how you got that brunt scar on her left hand. Really kitchen fire, that's the best you got?"

For some reason Daniel couldn't keep his cool and started to reach for Lilith but Matthew and Alex pulled him back. "Come on. Tell me no one else wants to harm her."

"Yes, because I'm just telling all of you the truth and you don't want to hear it. Plus, I think that you wanted to use the word kill and not harmed. Am I right or am I right," she said as she got out of the bed. Once she stood up, she felt a very sharp pain in her legs and fell to the ground screaming. Falling didn't help either; because once she was down her whole body was in pain.

Andrew quickly picked her up and put her on the bed. As Lilith was trying to settle down on the bed she said, "What...what the...hell was that?"

"Now, we really know that you have that darkness in you, because that wouldn't have happen if you didn't. It's the spell protection on the Institute grounds," Brian said.

Once Brian finished saying that, Lilith was about to say something until she fell back unconscious. King Francis was next to Brian and just stared at Lilith who was lying down on the bed. "You know, you kids need some rest. You can come back tomorrow," King Francis said.

"No, I'm not leaving," Andrew said.

"That wasn't a request," King Francis said and they all left the Institute. Once everyone was gone, King Francis turns back to Brian and said, "If she is the child fourteen years ago, I have some information that might be useful."
