The four Guardians all left early in the morning, and went to the town at night. Matthew and Daniel were getting all of their things and met Alex, with Lilith on his back, at the Infirmary doors and they all left. Once they were outside, they were stopped by all of the other Guardians.
"Where do you think you're all going? She's not supposed to leave," Eric, one of the Guardian leaders, said pointing at Lilith. Lilith was annoyed with this same scene happening all over again.
"Look, with everything that has happened yesterday, I decided that I should accept that I am now part of your world. So I need to learn about this fairy tale world of yours. So you could either left us leave or left us leave," Lilith said.
"You didn't actually give us a choice there," John, another Guardian said.
"That's the point. Left us leave," Lilith said.
"Fine, but we're going with you. You need all the help you're going to need, and we need to get to know you four newbies," Eric said and all of the Guardians behind him agreed.
"That's fine with me, but there are some key rules that you all need to follow. One, this is supposed to help me and not you. Two, if any of you are going anywhere else that no where near us, you need to tell me, because if we get caught, guess who is most likely going to get the blame. Three, if anything happens, stay out of my way," Lilith said and all of the Guardians stepped back.
"Okay, now that everyone knows who's the boss, let's bounce. Follow us," Daniel said. Alex and Matthew walked in the back and Alex looked at Lilith who was still on his back and ask, "How did you managed to scare them even when you're on my back and not walking around making the threats?"
"I don't know, pure talent," Lilith said and they all went into town.
When they were far away from the Institute, Lilith jumped off of Alex's back and moved around. Everyone stopped when Lilith started to run around and doing random flips. An hour later, they finally came into town and they followed Matthew, Daniel and Alex to an abandoned factory.
Matthew explained why they were using this factory, because the workers didn't care to clean it up, so now they use it as a training course. They even told them which station is for which. Halfway, Lilith got bored and said, "Yeah, yeah, let's just get to the part where you help me train."
Lilith went with Alex and they went upstairs with some of the Guardians. Alex handed Lilith some knives and he got out his bow and arrows. "Your goal is to hit those targets, like this," Alex said.
He set his arrows up and shot five arrows back to back. His first bow hit the target right in the middle of the target. Then his next four arrows all hit the center by breaking the previous bow in half. Lilith stood next to him amazed and Alex laughed as he saw Lilith reaction.
"I get that you're a pretty good shot, but did you really need to destroy all those arrows," Lilith said.
Alex did a hand gesture that Lilith didn't understand and all of his arrows that he shot came back into his hands. "This is why we have magic sweetheart," Alex said. He walked towards the chair behind Lilith and began fixing all of his arrows.
"This is why we have magic sweetheart," Lilith mocked Alex quietly and turned towards the target. She took one of the knives and threw it at the target. It hit the target but no where near the center.
"Good, you just hit his shoulder. The center is their heart. Try hitting it there," Matthew said coming up the stairs with Daniel.
Lilith took another knife and threw it harder. It got closer but it still wasn't at the target. She could hear her supposed to be Guardian team laughing behind her.
