Guardians and Royals

Demoted

The last thing that Lilith remembered was a bright red glow and now she's in a very dark room. She looked around and in a distance, she saw something in chains. She walked closer and she realized that it was a dragon. As she got closer the dragon saw her and said, "Oh it's just you."

Lilith look at the chains and held her hand towards the chains then made a tight fist and the chains broke. The dragon stood up and then started to walk around in a circle around her. 

"I'm not truly free you know. Let me out. You know that you can't control me," the dragon said. 

"Oh really, then how did I managed to put you back  in your chains with magic. Teleported myself in front of you with my sword when I was on the ground. And just now know what to do to break your chains with magic. They're all right. Magic is real here and happy endings are a thing. I know that now. So now, you're going to help get a little revenge, because we both know that I am in total control over you," Lilith said and she stared right into the dragon's eyes and her eyes turned bright red. 

The dragon backed up and bowed his head down. "What do you want me to do?"

Lilith turned away from the dragon and started walking away. "Where are you going? You don't know the way out of here," the dragon said. She smiled and waved her hand in the air and red roses were everywhere around the dragon. 

"We're going to have some fun and I know how much you love red roses. Plus I do know my way around. After all, this is my soul."

"Hey, hey, she's waking up," someone shouted when Lilith opened her eyes. She was back in the Infirmary. She was on the same bed as the three, four, some time. She look at the people around her and it was her team. Then she look at her body and she was in her same clothes but this time, she has needles sticking out of her body.

"Why in the world is there freaking needles in my body?" she shouted and she could hear Alex laughing.

Then everyone started to come in. Except for Allison and Emily who just stayed at the door. Once everyone was in front of her she look at Allison and Emily and asked, "What's wrong with the Princesses?"

Then James and Andrew took a step back and Lilith gave them a confused look. "What is there something I should know about?" Lilith asked and then they took a closer look at her. 

"What was the last thing that you remember?" Daniel ask looking at her carefully. Allison and Emily carefully walked over to them.

"You guys came to check up on me and caught me talking to myself and left. I guess I fell asleep outside. So why are there needles in my body?" Lilith said and everyone let out a big sigh. 

Then Brian came into the room and Matthew quickly whispered something in Brian's ear and then they smiled like nothing happened. "Royals, you need to get ready for tonight. Guardians, your Guardians outfit are in your room, make sure you wear those outfits, and someone fill Lilith in. Oh, Lilith, Andrew's parents wants to talk to you," Brian said and everyone left except for Andrew. 

He look at Lilith and smiled. "So, this bed now has your name on it, because it feels like every week you end up sleeping on this bed, and this time you were out for two whole weeks. You miss my actual sixteenth birthday, the most important day in everyone's lives," Andrew said. 

"Two whole weeks. So I was basically in a coma for two whole weeks," Lilith said. 

"Yes and today is the start of summer, which means every year, at the beginning summer, every Royal that turned sixteen and has their own Guardian there would be a huge announcement about the these Guardians. So you know the back garden of the Institute where there's a huge double doors and a lot of steps and halfway down there's a little platform or balcony, that's where it's going to happen. But when we're introduced, the Royals walk towards the right, where we will sit with Royalty, and Guardians walk to the left and stay with Guardians," Andrew said and the Infirmary doors opened.
