Guardians and Royals

So Many Problems.......

"Hey, hey, guess who's back with new dresses for the ball!" Emily shouted entering the Institute and into the Guardian's Center. Allison followed her, followed by James and Matthew carrying at least ten shopping bags each. 

Everyone turned towards them as they came into the room. James and Matthew put the shopping bags all in one corner and then they both dropped on the couch between Lilith and Andrew. They needed so much room that Andrew was sitting on one of the couch's arm and Lilith had to move closer to Derek. 

"I thought that you were just going to buy a shirt," Lilith said still eating the cake with Derek. James took Lilith's fork and took a bite out of the cake. He handed it back to her and she said, "No, I'm not hungry anymore." 

"Yes, I  was buying a shirt, but then these two ladies said that they needed some dress options to have for their sixteenth birthday ball," Matthew said. "James was about to buy two simple, but impressive suits for him and Andrew, but apparently they needed these dress by tonight so that they can finish planning a birthday party that is three weeks away."

Allison and Emily look at each other and then got up. Allison came over and sat on Matthew's lap and Emily sat on James' lap. "But you guys are so sweet," Allison said hugging Matthew. 

"Yeah, and I'm your little sister," Emily said hugging James. 

"By seven minutes. Don't abused that whole little sister thing. We're the same age," James said. 

"Hold up, you guys are twins," Daniel said looking closer at them. Emily smiled and hugged James once again. 

"Okay, too much cuteness for me and I'm dashingly handsome," Derek said getting up putting the cake on the coffee table. 

"Says who?" Lilith said looking at him more closely. 

"Uh, only by all of the girls in every kingdom," Derek said. He turned to the nearest mirror and said, "I mean who wouldn't fall for this face." Lilith raised her hand and Derek pretended to look hurt. 

Then Brian came into the room and look at all of them. Derek was about to leave until Lilith look behind her and stopped him by saying, "Wait, take me with you. It's about to get boring." 

Derek walked back into the room and whispered something in Lilith's ear. She laughed and said, "Yeah, no." Lilith stood up on the couch and Derek sighed turning around. 

"Lilith, before you leave, you might want to hear this. You too Derek," Brian said and Lilith sat down. Derek sat down next to Lilith making her move closer to James and Emily. Andrew, who has been keeping an eye on Derek this whole time got up and tried to sit between Lilith and Derek. Once he sat down everyone was sitting closely together. 

"Okay, this couch can only fit some people, but I'm awesome and I have an idea," Lilith said sitting up and she sat on Andrew's lap, making enough space because Andrew moved a little closer to James. She look at him and smiled. "Hi."

"Hey, how you doing?" Andrew said smiling at her. 

"Okay, first Lilith, my ears tell me that you're an expert on the sword, so here. Your own signature sword," Brian said showing her a sword. Lilith's eyes lit up and she look at Andrew and said, "A little help please." 

Andrew got up carrying her bridal style and walked to Brian. She got the sword and looked it closely. Around the sword was a chain with a key on it.  Then she look at Brian and said, "I get my own room right. No boys. Just me in my own room. You know, since you're in the mood for giving out gifts. You mind making me able to walk around here, because if I'm going to be living here, I want to be able to walk."
