The rest of that day was, arguably, the best in both Percy and Nicos lives. They talked about so much and it felt to both like they were finally getting to know each other. And, through their conversations and moments of learning, they came to an agreement. It was a bit easier for Percy than for Nico but they decided it needed to be done. The tow of the, together were going to go to Hazel. It was risky but Percy felt it really needed to be done. He felt he wouldn't be able to treat Nico like he needed, and wanted, to until they went to her and tried to make things work. So, they shoved into Percys car and made their way through a rainy day to Hazels building and up to her apartment.
The girl answered the door and made a disgusted face when she saw Percy and Nico, hand in hand, on the other side of it.
"What do you want?" She spat.
"Just to talk," Percy responded gently.
Hazel sighed and ushered the two in, letting them sit on the couch and listening to every word they spoke. Percy apologized more than he ever had in his life for everything he had said and done to both Hazel and Nico and tried to explain why he water the freshman in his life so bad. It wasn't easy, since he didn't fully know why, but he did his best. And, in the end (thanks in enormous part to eloquently spoken phrases from the fresh,an himself), Hazel gave a smile and a nod. But she did look at Percy with stone cold eyes with a few stipulations.
"If he comes to me, at any point in time, and tells me you hurt him, in any way, shape, or form, I will personally make sure the rest of your college career is a living hell."
Percy smiled. "I don't think that's the first time you've said that and, I know from experience, that you are more than capable of doing that. So you can be sure, out of fear of the consequences and of a feeling like nothing I've ever felt for Nico, that I will not hurt him."
The freshman blushed as his old foster sister and his lover started each other down. But Hazel gave a quick nod, saying without words that she believed him. But that was all Percy would get and it was enough for Percy so he took the freshmans hand and stood to leave. Before he got to the door, though, he turned back to Hazel.
"Oh. I'm not sure if you knew this or not, but Nico is an amazing cook. Tonight, we're gonna have a nice dinner and we'd like for you and Frank to join us."
Hazel squinted her eyes. "I know he can cook. Who do you think was the first one he taught?"
Percy looked at Nico and the freshman blushed again.
"But, dinner tomorrow night sounds great."
Percy smiled. "It starts at six."
"It'll be there."

The next night, Percy, Nico, Hazel, Frank, Piper, Jason, Annabeth, and Leo gathered together in the marine biologist and the freshmans apartment for a homemade dinner and some conversation. But that wasn't all. Hazel had something she wanted to do, and had been wanting to since the day before.
She cleared her throat. "I don't want to make this about me or anything, but I have something I'd like to do."
Percy nodded and Hazel pulled her phone from her pocket, dialed a number, and put it on speaker. Everyone was a bit taken aback when Luke's voice came over the speaker.
*"Hey, Hazel. You want me to cause a little more trouble?"*
She cleared her throat. "Actually, the exact opposite. I want you to back off." She spoke gently. "I want this to be over. It's stressing Mr out as much as it is Percy and, more importantly, Nico." She looked directly at the freshman when she spoke. "I just want it over,"
Luke sighed. *"Whatever you say. I was having fun but if you want it ended, then it's ended."*
She sighed. "Thank you."
Luke hung up first and Hazel smiled as she followed suit. She turned to Nico and Percy.
"Thank you for that." The marine biologists words were sincere and Hazel responded with a nod.
All eight college kids went back to dinner, then, and enjoyed each others company. Piper and Jason were happy everything had worked out in finding someone for Percy, Annabeth was glad her friend was happy, Leo was honestly pretty happy he didn't have to start being obnoxious to Luke for all the trouble he had been causing, and Hazel and Frank felt much better that there wasn't so much tension between them and Percy. It all worked out pretty well.
Percy and Nico were the happiest of all, though. Nico felt like he actually mattered to someone and was more than just a body while Percy was more satisfied with the freshman than he had ever been with anyone else. It was truly a happy ending, Nico felt pretty important and even loved and Percy had truly been satisfied, in more ways than one.
