EXCERPT FROM JOURNAL OF UNKNOWN SCIENTIST/AUGUST 25/TOPIC: BREAKTHROUGH

I have made a breakthrough in the research of the Bicentennials.

It seems that certain Bicentennials are affected by a type of madness a few months after contracting the disease. This madness causes them to see friends as enemies, and enemies as friends. I have named it the Traitor Virus; though I doubt the name will catch on. Anyone who sees this may call it whatever they like.

I observed a group of Bicentennials for a few weeks, following them. They seemed to be full-fledged, as one of them had a wing mutation that they had found out how to use, and they seemed confident, with their new abilities. As a Bicentennial myself (I gained an unbecoming extra set of arms and a hawk's wings), I was able to observe them without dying of disease.

But, after a while, things seemed to go downhill in the group. The member with the wing mutation snapped one night, and strangled another member while he was asleep. During the attack, I was close enough to observe that the Bicentennial's eyes had gone completely black, and no iris could be seen.

The winged member died of unknown causes a while later.

I have done some research into this phenomenon, and have discovered that this strange madness only affects Bicentennials with type O blood. As I stated earlier, it causes these unfortunate Bicentennials to see friends as enemies, and enemies as friends. It will drive them insane, and they will attack their allies during unpredictable fits of madness. The madness builds and builds, until it eventually takes over. A short while after the full takeover of the disease, the affected Bicentennial will die.

It is still unknown  if it is possible to survive the disease, but for every Bicentennial's sake, I hope it is.

The Traitor Virus:

An eventually fatal disease that will cause your OC to turn against their allies in random bursts of madness. Luckily, it only affects Bicentennials with type O blood.

There is no cure for the Traitor Virus, but some Bicentennials have been known to survive it. Survival, however, is extremely rare.

To be a part of this new plot line, comment your characters' blood types. Remember that your Bicentennial does not have to have this disease - they can have other blood types. Example of the form:

Name: Lilith Emery
Blood Type: O

(The choices are O, A, B, and AB. Remember: Only Bicentennials with type O blood have a reaction to this virus.)

I will be adding your characters' blood types to their descriptions in the Members page. Another thing to remember: the Bicentennials have no idea what's going on.

Comment your OCs' blood types on this page. I will add them to Members as soon as possible.
