I gulp as a gun is pointed towards my head but Dick steps in front of me." Aww... young love." Joker said as he shot Dick in his leg. I gasp and catch him as he falls back and I run my fingers through his black hair." You are coming with us!!!" Joker yelled as he grabbed me by my hair and dragged me away from Dick, and into the kitchen. He throws me at the island and I hit my head making my vision blur.

"Baby pudden! Why on earth are you hanging out with Bruce Wayne's son!? I guess we forgot to tell you that we were going to rob them... huh. Well anyways we can't have them find out who you are so act like this is a real robbery k?" My mom asked and I reluctantly nodded. Why am I doing this? What should I do? Play along or try and be the hero...? I think to myself as Joker comes back in with a chair and some ducktape. I thrash as they sit me in the chair and tape me to it, they then put the tape over my mouth to shut me up. Harley has the gun as Joker drags my chair back into the living room where Dick is on the floor clutching his leg in pain. My stomach drops when I see him and I glare at my parents.

"Aww the little girl is mad cause we hurt her lover boy... to bad!" Joker said as he laughed. I move my hands around a little to try and slip out of the tape, my hand slipped free then my other one. As Joker and Harley explained their plan to Dick, and had their backs turned, I quietly pulled off the tape and stood up. I grabbed a bat off the wall and reeled back, I breath out as I smash the wooden bat over Joker's head and he falls to the ground unconscious. I take the now broken bat and hit Harley with it making her pass out too. I drop the splintered bat and rush over to Dick who was wide eyed. I kneel down and grab his hand.

"Oh my gosh. Are you ok!?" I ask and he nodded. I sigh and help him stand up.

"Master Dick, is everything alright-" their butler Alfred asked as he walked into the room. I smile and I feel something wet run down the side of my face. I lift my hand up to feel what it was and I discover that it was blood from where I hit my head." Mistress Hailey! Oh my, you both need medical attention immediately. Come come! I will call the police." He said and he rushed over taking Dick from me. I grab the ducktape from the floor and quickly wrap up Harley and Joker. I smile and rush after Alfred and Dick.

"Ow!" I say as Dick places the alcohol on my forehead. Alfred was stitching up Dick's leg and Dick was working on my head. Dick smiled at me and placed a bandage over my head.

"I'm sorry you got dragged into that. To be honest, it happens quite often." He said and I give him a hug." It won't happen again, not while your around." He said and I thank him and Alfred for an 'enthusiastic' time. We walk back into the living room where all of the police were and I pick up my bag.

"Dick. Are you alright?" I turned to see Bruce Wayne walking in and trapping Dick in a hug. Dick nods and looks over at me. Bruce Wayne shakes my hand." Pleasure to meet you..."

"Hailey. Hailey Quinnzel." I said and he looks me in the eye." Well maybe we should call your parents and tell them what happened." Bruce said and I stiffened.

"Hailey's parents are on a cruise and apparently their phones are either turned off or not working." Dick said and I smiled letting go of Bruce Wayne's hand." She should probably be going now." Dick said and I nodded pulling on my backpack and smiling. On my way out I could hear their conversation.

"How could you be so stupid Dick!"
"What are you talking about!?"
"Quinnzel. As in Harleen Quinnzel, aka-"
"Harley Quinn..."
"Exactly! She's her daughter."
"But Hailey isn't insane, she's kind and sweet and a little shy. She would never steel or harm anyone except for saving my life today."
"She's the one who took out the Joker and Harley? It could be a trick."
"Its not!"
"I hope your right..."

I wipe a tear from my eye and sprint back to my apartment. I slam the door closed when I get home and toss everything out of my backpack, I quickly shove in clean clothes, food, and my costume. Good. Bad. What's the difference? I will still be known as the daughter of two maniacs. I walk out the door and pull the hood up of my jacket. I step out of the building and start walking. Time to find a new home...
