Making Sure (Short Chapter!)

I yawn and open my eyes, stretching. I sit up and smile to myself, last night was... wow. Dick had left a while after the kiss and I went to sleep shortly after. I slide out of bed and sigh, how do I get a hold of Batman and Robin in the daytime? I get dressed into my Gotham Academy uniform and shrug, mine as well go to school. I skip to the door. I have to stop skipping... I open the door and am met by Robin." Robin!?" I ask letting him in." What the heck are you doing here!?" I ask again this time louder.

"Shh. I came to check on you to make sure you weren't going to do something stupid, I guess I was wrong." He gestured to my uniform and I rolled my eyes." You know you aren't supposed to leave!" He said crossing his arms.

"Its just school..." I said and he shook his head in disapproval. I frowned and then laughed suddenly." I will be fine!" I said still laughing. He shook his head and I sighed then turned around." I guess I should change then, I will be right back." I walked into my room and changed into new clothes, which weren't that new." Better!?" I ask flopping down onto the couch and he sighed and sat next to me.

"I just don't want you getting hurt. Gotham can be dangerous, believe me, I know." He said giving me a small smile and I scoffed.

"Ya don't think I don't know that!? My parents are Harley Quinn and THE Joker! I get belted every time I do something wrong, and they always drag me into their stupid heist. Nothing I do will ever please them...." I say, feeling tears sting my eyes. Be for I knew it, Robin had trapped me in a hug. I hugged back and silently cried on his shoulder, that was dropped in a cape." Thank you." I said pulling away and he stood up, nodded, and waved before walking out the door. I sighed and layed down on the couch. I just cried on Robin's shoulder, I am an idiot. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.
