Chapter 2 : The People Around Me

"Ivy's POV"

Today was the beginning of a new semster. I really enjoyed this summer and now it's all gone. I was kind of worried since every year they switch up who your roommate  and I never gotten used to it. Hopefully this time it won't be so I bad. I grab my belongings and check if I forgotten anything.

Barely made it into the building, I was greeted by so many people. I wouldn't say I'm well known but people starts noticing you if you're pretty. I'm in my third year this semester, which means we are almost out of here.

*Rae POV*

It came to my surprise when we gave each other a good look because it's been so long since I got to talk her.

"Amber!" My voice shifting from a questionable voice to a more confident one.
"Kim Seok is that you?I miss you so much! "Amber crash on tops of me for a hug.

Amber and I grew up together until she had to move out and change to another school. I wouldn't ever think I never would assume I could've met here at this place. I was so happy, my grip was becoming tighter around her she could barely breathe.

"How are things going?"

Before Amber could answer me , the look on Ivy's face was priceless. She just wave at me and signal that's she's going to walk away.

"Good, but we need to catch up on everything!"
" Yes! We do!" I shouted as I hug her once again. I couldn't believe I was being taken away from my best friend for so long.

"I miss our childhood moments-" I was cut off when I saw a random arm around Amber.

I was confuse but mostly lost for words. Skimming up, a blonde hair guy with a tats and piercings came into picture. Once our eyes met, he winks at me.

"Amber? who's this?" facing my attention back to Amber.

"This is my brother Namjoon" Amber completes a handshake with him.
"I almost forgot, I'm sorry I didn't greet you properly . Hi, I'm Namjoon. Nice to meet you." He smiles.
"Pleasure is mine, you can call me Rae."
"I'm hungry" Amber drags me by her side.

We got in line, but as soon as I turn around group of boys starts laughing and hollering.

"Jin my man, what's up dude?"
"Jhope it's been so long since we've met last time" Namjoon seems to recognize these fellas.

Amber and I sat down at one of the random tables, but people started added on to the table.
"Whose this cutie?" a guy sat next to me.
"You looked you live in the hood" one starts laughing.

I turn to the boy who was next to me. He had me at awe when he so pretty. I don't mean it in an offensive way. He's features are define and his face is symmetrical. Wow is he pretty.

The guy notice I was looking at him for a little bit too long and a smirk rise to his face.

"Jungkook" another guy greets me as he sat next to Namjoon.

"Hi, I'm Rae " I start smiling like an idiot because the amount of guys surrounding me at this table is enough to make my heart explode.

"Such a beautiful name.." out of nowhere, another voice.

The table was filled with boys who would be labeled as "troublemakers".

"Ok hush everyone!" Namjoon loudly projected as he stood up.

"Today is the new start of a new school year . We have new girl this semester" namjoon grabs my arm and made me stand up.

"Welcome Rae!" Namjoon shouted.

Everyone was clapping ,hollering and whistling causing everyone in the lunch room to look at our direction.

As I skim around at so many unfamiliar faces, I saw Ivy who look like she was irritated by the motion. My dumb self had to eye contact with  an intimidating guy across Ivys table. I look to Amber, realizing what her friend made me do.

"You famous now girl,on your first day" Amber chuckles.

"Please I barely know anyone here."
"Alright!" Amber shouted.
"What are you doing Amber?" I tug on her arm.

She pats me on the back and somehow she drags standing next to her.

"This is Namjoon, Jin, call him V. Suga, Jungkook, and Jhope." She explains each and every one of them as she points at them.

Next on the schedule was the go to the music studio with your roommate. I know well I didn't mean to leave Ivy like that but she seems fine with her friends.

"Where were you?" Ivy gave me annoyed look on her face.
"I'm sorry I left you, I just found my old best friend."
"Amber?" I nodded as in a reply.
"Nothing.. I mean its only because we had some problems years ago. So now we are just separated and ignoring each other." she explain in a passive aggressive tone.

After walking with Ivy, I notice someone was walking with us . I tried to ignore him but he was the same guy that was looking at me intimidatingly moments ago.

They were conversing so I decide be in my own bubble of thoughts. There's no directions to the music studio but I assume these two would know the directions by now.

"Rae, this is Kyungsoo my boyfriend. Babe this is my roommate." Ivy said out of the blue. I think she caught on their awkward silence between the three of us.

I didn't know how to respond so I smile. We were almost there at the designated place but someone pulled my arm backwards.

What is going on today? I took a deep breathe to turned around to see who was it.
