Chapter 20 : His Plans

Haeun's POV

This afternoon I had a guy called me and told me something important. I didn't really understand what's he's talking about but I'm so confused.

I walked towards the coffee house as I was waiting to meet the guy. He told me he was a lawyer that my dad hired.

I wonder what this is all about, but when he mentioned that he was a lawyer this probably the heritage we are going to talking about.

I really don't want to go back to America, that means I have marry another person I was promised (forced) to . Only because both of our family promised together to take care of each other. That means I have to married their son, so that I have a promised lifetime...

I sat their in the coffee shop, gazing off through the glass window. Why can't be free to married to who ever I loved?

"Hello mam, I'm Mr. Allred, I am your father's lawyer. " He greeted.

I stood up and bowed to him.

"Hello sir, My name is Haeun Min Seok.." I replied.

"Could we sit down?" He asked. As his hand gesture towards the table.

I nodded and sat down.

"Your father left something for you that is really important, before he died. I'm sorry to hear about that. The date set for his funeral is in a bout a week. He left you this heritage and this letter." He started as he handed me the letter.

Dear my beloved daughter,

As you are reading this letter, I'm probably gone by now. It break my hearts to see you in pain when I'm gone, but don't you worry child. As I left behind my heritage between you and another person. This person is someone really closed to you. They not be by the same mother but they have already met you. As I leave you alone in this world, don't forget me and mom. You were raised up well, don't do anything stupid. As I said before, Take care of yourself, go back to America and be with that family we promised. I know you might not like them, but they are the ones I trust to take care of you. Don't disobey my orders. Listen to me carefully, when you meet the other person who I'm talking about. Don't get angry or have hatred towards her. That person will tell you my heritage is spilt between the two of yall. Her name is Kim Rae Seok. I love you to death, now that I'm dead, well I will love you forever on.

Yah! What is this? I don't know what to say, I'm clueless on what to do. All I know is I need to go talk to Kim Rae Seok.

"Here's the contract that your father signed to give you his heritage, and here's what he left you. " He showed me the contracts.

*There's so much he gave me though, how am I'm supposed to take care all of this. Now I have to go back to America...

"Please signed here to proved you have seen this contract, agree with the terms and that's all you need to do." He instructed.

"Alright, I'll signed it." I said as I reached for the pen.

I signed the contract, as my mind was going everywhere. I don't know, I'm not sure what's going on right now.

"Thats is all, thankyou for working properly with me, if you have any questions about this contract, here's my business card." He handed me the card.

He left, as I call Kim Rae Seok..

I don't know how to break this down, like how do I ask her? Did you know my father gave you half of his heritage to you?...

I might have to start off with asking her about the family thing first, I'm curious about it to.

But then again how did she know the right time to meet me and dad? Or that's the other way around?
