Chapter 6

Thursday, December, 12, 20XX

“Kim, wait!” Cindy went calling her bestfriend and followed her outside their classroom. “Can we talk before you leave?” She wanted to explain to her why she went with Ethan, she knew that Kim was just concerned about her feeling but she thought that her reaction was a little overboard.

“Not today Cindz,” Kim didn’t even hide the annoyance and anger in her voice. “I’m really pissed off right now, I’ll just say things that’ll hurt you and I’ll regret later on.”

“Babe..”

“I’ll give you your talk tomorrow, promise.” And Kim then continued to walk her way outside the school to cool off.

While throughout the ordeal, Krish and Kla were just standing at the side not saying anything. The two of them understood what Kim was angry about. They told them about the phone call last night. But they were also aware of why Cindy went with Ethan, she just loves that guy to bits even with his vile personality.

“She’ll come around.” Kla tried to reassure her worried bestfriend, they didn’t fight that often and when they do it was always for a big reason.

“Kla’s right babe, she loves you. She just doesn’t wanna see you hurting.”

“But isn’t her reaction a little too much?” She asked the two, she just wanted her bestfriends support in times like this, not their anger.

“I’m sure she’ll explain herself when she calm down and you can also tell her your sentiment.” Krish answered Cindy not wanting to add the grudge between Kim and her.

“Now tell us what happened, why you went back here crying.” The hatred they had for Ethan just furthered as they looked at Cindz tears strained face.

The three girls went to the new student lounge of the Unicollege. Krish and Kla seated in front of Cindy and then she started to tell her tale. She told them everything, how Ethan was being sweet and all, leading her heart again to the heartbreak avenue. And while she was telling them that, the two had a permanent scowl on their faces, Cindz knew they wanted to say something bad about her ex-boyfriend but they hold their tongues and let her continue.

She even tried to make them laugh telling them that the salesman thought that they were brothers but that just turned their expression into a blank one. Their reaction just changed when she started to tell them that it was goodbye after all, that she was the one who walked away from him for the very first time.

Krish and Kla smiled after what she told them and then they went to sit beside Cindz, and gave her a very tight hug.

“You did the right thing, babe.” Kla whispered to her, Cindz was now feeling very happy with her decision but still there was something missing, Kim. And as if reading her mind Krish reassured her again.

“You tell her that when she’s ready to talk, and I’m sure she’ll be very happy and supportive towards your decision.” And smiles all smeared their faces.

“Krish, can we talk?” Nate was suddenly in front of them, Krish look a little bit hesitant but her friends coaxed her to go.

“I’ll see you tomorrow?” Kla and Cindz just nodded their head to the two of them, Nate giving them a silent thank you.

“Now, let’s go home?” Cindz took a deep breath before she agreed and so they walked outside SU to their dorm.

They were greeted with silence when they entered their dorm room, at first they thought that maybe Kim didn’t went straight back there after what happened a while ago. But Kla checked their bedroom and there was Kim, her face buried again on one of her thick books.
