"Stop." Astrid snarled at Drake. She was tired, and couldn't keep up with his movements, she was scared to fall asleep.

"Astrid The Genius." He cooed. She spit at his face. He angrily wiped it away and thwacked her with his whip. She whimpered, defeated.

"S-Sam..." She murmured. Then closed her eyes, preparing for the beating

"Caine, where do you think they are?" Diana asked after Breeze left for the one-millionth time to go find Sam and Astrid.

"Dead." He said indifferently. The sea crashed at their ankles. Diana had suggested they walk across the beach like a normal couple.

"I don't think they are dead. I know Drake has them, though."

"Well that much is obvious. That shark hates them." He murmured.

"Well what are we going to do?"

"Go where the day takes us." He leaned in, kissing her. She didn't protest.

"I like that." She leaned on his chest as he hugged her.

"Only the best for the queen." He replied jokingly.

"Hello?" Edilio held the phone to his ear.

"Edilio!" Breeze screamed in his ear.

"Ahh what?"

"I found them! I found them! Don't tell Diana or Caine yet. They are on a date, I am considerate enough."

"Yeah but you call me at 3 AM." Edilio rolled his eyes.

"Heh. Sorry. Get over here, right now." The line went dead. Great. Edilio sighed, bringing his feet over the bed. He stood on the cold floor, pulling on a tee shirt and jeans, he threw on a coat and sneakers, carefully treading out careful not to wake his mother.

"So?" Edilio asked when he got into Diana, Sam, and Astrid's house.

"The snake has them." She spat, disgusted.

"Excuse me?"

"Drake!" She flopped on the couch, defeated. Her hair in a pony tail.

"Drake?" Edilio whistled, cursing under his breath.

"Yes. We should go rescue them!" She jumped up. But Edilio grabbed her.

"We don't know what we're up against. We should bring Deeka, Caine, and Jack." He said reasonably.

"Yeah... Wait what? Deeka?" She hardened. "No. Caine and Jack. No Deeka."

"Brianna-"

"No!" She turned, tears staining her eyes. Great.

"Breeze. She's coming." Edilio said folded his arms.

"If she's coming...IM NOT!"

Hey guys I have good and bad news...

I have lack of motivation to finish this book I'm thinking of dropping it completely. The plot line sucks, the characters are slow, and the whole thing... Ugh...

The good news is I have a couple ideas and I may update some more although... I can't promise you how often it'll be and how long it will be.

My dear readers I hope to see you soon but this is goodbye for now.

I'm sorry... The gone series just isn't my favorite anymore b/c I haven't read it in a while and I don't like it as much
