I flew around Burgess, Pennsylvania, letting snow sprinkle down lightly. I grinned in satisfaction. I flew by the school to see my favorite little girl. She was my first believer ever, and even though she was nine, she never stopped believing. I flew by and tapped on her classroom window. I pushed it open, letting a gust of freezing air in, along with me. I hovered just inside the window, grinning mischievously.

The teacher called out, "Janie Benet, please close that window!" Janie hustled over, wearing her winter vest, and she grinned at me impishly. She closed the window and I tapped her head lightly. I spun her around, lifting her by the waist and flying her over to her seat while the teacher wasn't looking. The whole class gasped, the ones that didn't believe in me staring in shock at the floating girl. The ones that could see me, a few kids and the boy Janie had a crush on, Peter, was included in that. They had all recently fought with us in the battle against out archenemy, Pitchiana, who had tried to let fear reign and nightmares rule.

But after all, she was the Nightmare Queen. If she wasn't evil, I bet we'd be best friends, both misunderstood and under-appreciated by Maggie, the Woman in the Moon. But everything's alright between Mabel and I now, we've resolved our issues.

The teacher turned back from the board. "Now class, turn to page 394-"

I, and half the class, burst out laughing. We continued for five minutes straight.

The teacher looked mad. "Look, children, stop laughing. The Harriet Potter reference was funny, but the joke's over now. Seriously though, turn to that page. It's today's lesson." The whole class groaned and flipped through their books. A girl I didn't know raised her hand. "But Mr. Thompson, that topic is much too advanced. We're only on-"

"I know what we're on! But this topic pertains to solving for x when the angle of..."

I tuned him out. School was so stupid. Like you would never need this class unless you went into this exact field, blah blah blah. So I had an idea that everyone would like.

Snow day!

I raised my staff and clouds rolled in, and snow started falling heavily. Within minutes, there was a foot of snow outside and rough winds. The power flickered and I winced. Maybe I overdid it. I lowered my staff, and the winds died down. I let out a sigh of relief. The principal came on the loudspeaker and I cheered at her words along with the rest of the class. "Everyone is being dismissed early. There is too much snow on the roads for the buses to travel. We cannot get you home, and the roads are closed. Have a nice day!"

Several kids started complaining. "But I can't get home from here! It too far to walk!"

I rolled my eyes and blew at them. They shivered and turned towards me. "I'll take you guys home. I have nothing else to do besides play with you guys since I caused this snow day!"

Janie was the first one to put everyone's thoughts into action. "Snow day!" She yelled and ran out the door, snatching her backpack off of the ground and shoving her hat on her head. I laughed at her excitement and followed her out the front doors. I flew backwards in front of her, navigating with ease. The moment the kids were out of the school, they headed to the park. I met them there, a twinkle in my eye, massive forts already made and ammo stocked up. Each fort had an insignia carved into it, one a tree and the other an egg.

I floated in midair and whistled sharply. When I had everyone's attention, I removed my fingers from my mouth and cleared my throat. "Okay! If Easter is your favorite holiday, go over here!" I pointed to a spot on my left. Six kids of the fourteen ran over. "Now, everyone who prefers Christmas, go over here!" I pointed to my right. Six kids ran over. "Who doesn't prefer either?" Two kids ran forwards, Jamie and her little brother, Seth.
