Multiple figures were spat out onto the floor. I didn't have time to register what they looked like before they got up and pointed their weapons at us. I rushed forward towards one, my staff pointed forwards and Janie hiding behind me. Nikki, Bev, Sandi, and Toothifer all did the same, and when the smoke cleared, I looked at who I was threatening.

It was a boy, the same height as me, with white hair like mine, but short. He had bright blue eyes and pale skin, and he was wearing a blue hoodie identical to mine. He was wearing tattered leather pants with ribbons around the calves, and no shoes. He had a staff that looked exactly the same as mine, and he was pointing it at me. We blinked in sync, then simultaneously said, "Whoa." Behind the boy, there was a little boy who looked just like Janie, vest and hat and all, hiding behind his legs like Janie was hiding behind mine.

The boy and I both turned our heads at the same time to look at the rest.

Facing Nikki, there was a man just as tall as her, in red pants with suspenders and a large red coat with black fur trim, and a tall Russian hat, also black fur. He was pointing two large swords, very similar to Nikki's, at her. He had a long white beard.

In front of Bev, there was another bunny, same height, also holding boomerangs and with a small blond girl standing behind him who looked oddly like Seth.

Standing, or should I say hovering, before Sandi was a small golden man with short, spiky hair. He had golden robes and they were both really, really, similar.

I looked at Toothifer. He was in a fighting position, and across from him was a girl that looked just like him, with little girl fairies flying around her.

I looked back at the boy, my eyes narrowed. He did the same. "Who are you?" We demanded at the same time. "No, you first. Stop copying me! Would you quit that! If you don't knock that off this minute I will freeze you into oblivion!" We said in unison.

I glared at him and pushed Janie back at the same time he pushed the kid near him back. The frost on my hoodie crackled. "You are in our home turf, so I suggest you tell us who you are," I said icily, my voice hard.

"Jack Frost, bringer of winter, Guardian of fun."

"Shut up! Now tell me the truth." I took a step closer to him.

"That is the truth!"

"No, it isn't!"

"Why not?"

"Because I'm Jaclyn Frost, bringer of winter, Guardian of fun to the children of Htrae. Now tell me who you really are." The ground frosted under my feet as I stepped closer to him, putting my staff directly under his chin. His staff brushed my hoodie lightly and it frosted over where it touched me, spreading rapidly, but I brushed it off with my hand.

He looked surprised. "No one can touch my frost without getting hurt. Why can you?"

I growled. "Don't act like you're in charge here. Everyone knows women are the dominant gender for a reason. If you're Jack Frost, who none of of us have heard of, go talk to Maggie, the Woman in the Moon. She is the one who chooses all the Guardians," I hissed, then launched myself at him, getting my arm around his neck and twisting his arm behind him, pressing our bodies close. I walked him over to the beam of moonlight shining down on the 'G' inlaid in the floor. I whispered into his ear, "If you lied to me, you will pay. I promise you." Then I forced him to his knees and made him look up at Maggie.

He started talking. "Manny?"

"Show some respect, boy. That is Maggie, the Woman in the Moon, the one who gave us our immortality. Treat her as such." I gripped his shoulder tightly.
