I ride to school on my Harley and pull up, First day back to school. As soon as i park I'm greeted by some girls and i smile and wave as soon as they walk away my face returns the stern look I'm usually putting on. as soon as i get my schedule and head to class. One at a time new and old students find their way in and my bestfriend Rowen walks in wearing jeans and a one punch man 'OPPAI' sweater on
"Whats up Kayden! we're in the same class again" he say sitting next to me
"thank god, i was worried that all my classes were gonna suck" i chuckle as we do our handshake. Ive known Rowen since elementary school he's like a brother to me he knows everything, well, almost.
"How was your summer?" he asks
" it was good, traveled a lot, How about you"
"well--" he looked at the door and froze
"hey?" i snap my fingers all he does it point to a girl Ive never seen before talking to our teacher
"woah...." we both say simultaneously
"that must be the new foreign girl everyone was talking about in orientation" he says, i didn't respond all i know is she's beautiful, the bell rings snapping us out of it and everyone sits down but she stays standing next to the teacher staring off to the side. Her hair is a deep green and her eyes, Oh god her eyes, I can't help but stare and neither can Rowen.
" Okay class! Welcome to Wildwood high school, I see new and some old face's and today we have a foreign exchange student, this here is Zera Arnette lets welcome her" she gestures to her and She nods
"H-hello there" she says with a slight accent. The teacher points her to the seat next to me and Rowen and she sits on the aisle seat
"What's up, I'm Rowen, nice to meet you" he smiles
" Bonj- i-i mean hi" she blushes nervously looking at her desk all I can do is stare and Rowen elbows me
"u-uh I'm His Kayden, best friend" wait what did I just say
"i-i mean I'm his best friend, Kayden" I say
She chuckles slightly and class starts.
"smooth" Rowen whispers.
As class goes on I take small glances at her and then at my work, I hate Statistics. After about am hour and a half the Next bell rings and we pack up, Rowen heads to his next class an Zera Walks out and I walk after her
"U-um hey, its Zera right?" she seemed pretty occupied in her thoughts
"oh, uh Yea" she replies staring at her feet
"Welcome to New Jersey, It may be a bit different than La-tabie" I say probably butchering the name, but she stays silent
"S-sorry I'll leave you alone now"
"Its, La-Turbie, your not bothering me" she replies
"Alright then, um, so what's your next class?" I ask feeling less stupid
"Chemistry" she replies and as I'm about to speak I hear a high pitched female voice behind me
"Hey there handsome" its Cathryn my ex, Oh god why.
" Oh, Hi Cathryn" I say slightly rolling my eyes, she's a bitch and I can't stand her.
"I've missed you this summer you didn't call me once" she says slightly pouty hanging on my arm
"Must've lost your number...." I say, I notice Zera rolling her eyes.
"Well, see ya" she says walking off
"O-oh uh o-okay!" I say, dammit Cathryn.....
"ugh, who was that?" She says whipping her red hair
"The new foreign exchange student"
"Why are you talking to her?"
"Because I can, now I'm going to class" I say walking off to class.
