Chapter 55 - Bad moon rising

Everyone walked back to ponyvile with the group of Ponies which the dragons had kidnapped and they were all cautious of Link because he still had lots of blood on his shirt.

"Ugh dammit this will take forever to clean!" Said Link

"Hey... Link you wanna talk?" Said Twilight carefully.

"About what?" Said Link.

"About that camp... what you did." Said Twilight.

"Honestly I have had moments where I snap into anger before, but that was new... I have no idea what came over me..." Said Link

"Well to be fair Link you had to do it to survive otherwise we would have all been blasted!" Said Oozak

"Maybe... but tearing his throat out with my bear teeth!" Said Link

"Okay I understand but I think everyone is being cautious of you." Said Oozak

"They would be, I would never hurt my family like that though!" Said Link

"Family?" Asked Twilight

"Well let's be honest you guys have been with me ever since I moved to Equestria, since then you all have traveled with me wherever we go and that in my opinion takes friendship higher to family." Said Link

"Well that's true!" Said Twilight.

"Also whenever we come across as a problem we always work it out with a solution, it doesn't matter how ridiculous it is!" Said Link

"Well there have been a few times where they have been pretty stupid..." Said Oozak

"Well either way the point is with a friendship like ours nothing will faze us!" Said Link

"Yeah!" Said the others

As Link and Oozak wandered back to Links house Oozak received a letter telling them that they need to go to Appleloosa because there were reports of unknown monsters fighting the other ponies

"When do I rest?" Said Link

"Well if you want I can drive the train, Just hand me the keys and you go get some sleep!" Said Oozak

Link handed Oozak the keys and Link got on one of the bunks in the carriageway, Oozak thought a lot about his new girlfriend and decided to sing a song for her by himself.

A few hours on the road Link woke up and joined Oozak at the front of the train

"Looks like this is it up ahead!" Said Oozak

"Looks like it, You know while I was sleeping I was wandering why did I make that point in the woods saying that the other 6 come with us wherever we go and not come to this time?" Said Link

"This was an assignment from princess Celestia, This apparently can only be stopped by us!" Said Oozak

"Yeah maybe." Yawned Link

Oozak and Link jumped off the train and Oozak handed Link the keys.

"I get to sleep when we head back alright?" Said Oozak

"Okay fine... your such a buzzkill." Said Link

Link and Oozak wandered the streets and the place was deserted.

"Uh oh... are we too late?" Said Oozak

"No but I think the monsters are Chrysalis's Zombies and Changelings!" Said Link.

"How do you figure that?" Said Oozak.

"Well if you look at the place, this is exactly how Ponyvile looked like when she attacked us then!" Said Link

"Well ill try not to get infected again then!" Said Oozak

"Damn right!" Said Link

They carried on wandering throughout Appleloosa and there Braeburn ran into Link and put his hooves up

"Hi..." Said Braeburn as Link drew his revolver and Oozak bringing out his dark cipher.

"BACK UP!" Yelled Oozak

"KEEP THEM UP!" Yelled Link

"Whoa easy guys I was running away from the dead!" Said Braeburn

"That's why we are here we are here to flush them out, where are they?" Asked Link

"About a 7 minute walk from here." Said Braeburn

"Alright... thanks for letting us know." Said Oozak putting his broadsword away.

"No problem, we look out for each other... Still, its best not to try anything!" Said Braeburn

"Best not to make threats you can't keep either!" Said Oozak

"Exactly!" Said Braeburn

"How many of those things have you killed?" Asked Link

"Not this guy Link!" Said Oozak

"How many of those things have you killed?" Link asked again

"Sorry but I think we have a few minutes before they arrive!" Said Braeburn.

"Link, What the hell was that?" Said Oozak

"Well he was clean, there is more going on to what he was saying, maybe we could track him, see if he will come with us." Said Link

"Nah, Braeburn he just bumped into us he is probably scared to death by now since he has seen our weapons!" Said Oozak

There was a couple of shots being fired not far from Link and Oozak and they both went to investigate and it turns out Braeburn was smarter than he looked

"Firecrackers!" Said Link

"Uh oh... he swapped the keys to the train didn't he?" Said Oozak

Link put his hand his pocket to find out that the keys weren't there

"OH CRUD!" said Link and they both dashed towards the moving train

"Sorry y'all!" Said Braeburn leaving in the train.

"Crud..." Said Link as he and Oozak saw the train go off in the distance.

"Uh Link?" Said Oozak turning around to see that they were completely surrounded by undead and changelings.
