Plot: Noticed friendship, unnoticed feeling. Friendship stays forever, however, can it be on the next level? To be more than BEST FRIENDS? 

"Miharu, your bestfriend's waiting for you here." Her mom shouted.

"Coming!" She was seated on her bed, wearing her shoes. Then facing in the mirror, she fixed her hair and her uniform's tie.

Her name was Miharu. She has a long straight black hair that she ponytailed everyday. She was a cute, funny and sometimes a lazy one. She was now on her final year as a high school student in Skaura Gakuen. 

Miharu was almost done packing her things. On the other hand, downstairs...

"Sorry for keeping you wait here, Yamada-kun." Her mom said as she let him come in their house. She offered him to sit down. He obeyed. 

"It's okay, she's a girl, afterall." He said, smiling.

"Good thing you understand. Just wait here. I have to wash the plates." Her mom said. He nodded.

This guy sitting there was Yamada Ryosuke, a not-so-tall, chubby-cheeked guy who loves strawberry. He was Miharu's bestfriend. They were bestfriends.

Miharu was done and went downstairs,

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Ryo-chan." She said catching her breath.

"It's okay," He srood up.

"Mom, we're going." She said. Her mom just turned her head to see them.

"Okay, be careful!" Her mother replied.

Ryosuke and Miharu have been bestfriends for four years. They've shared so many things to each other. They laughed. joked and cried about things together. Their friendship grew stronger as time goes by but, Ryosuke's feelings for her was getting stronger too, which was beyond their friendship.

So, they went outside. Soon, they reached their school and walked directly to their classroom.

"Good morning, class!" Their teacher said. The usual thing, they greeted her too. The class went on as expected. Daily quizzes were given and new lessons were discussed. During recitations, Miharu and Ryosuke would compete secretly for the most number of correct answers. It had been their competition since then. Then, the classes ended. They were both in the classroom, packing their things befiore going home.

-Ryosuke's POV

"So, how many points did you get?" I said. I saw her counting it with her fingers.

"10...15..18! I got 18 points!" She exclaimed. I laughed.

"Only 18?" I looked at her and smiled, "I got 20! I won!" I laughed at her.

"Aw, just two points." She frowned and pouted. I love the way she pouts. It just makes me want to... Oh what am I thinking?

"What's the consequence?" She asked me while putting her bag on her shoulders. Becuse I'm not an evil, I will just give her a simple one.

"Just tell me something interesting on what happened to you.. today." I smiled and sat to my chair.

" Okay. Well, something interesting? Hmm,.." She placed her bag back to the table and started talking.

"I know!! I met Yuto awhile ago." She said, smiling or maybe blushing. Okay, Yuto again, always Yuto - the person she likes. What does she like about him? She always talk about him everyday. But as a bestfriend, I'll listen to her. I tried to hide the boredom and uninterested feeling I have inside for her not to be disappointed.

"So, What about him?" I asked her, for her to know that I'm interested, well, it's fake. She moved closer to me. My heart beats faster. Dokidoki~

" This is a secret." She moved closer to my ear. "He wants to have a date with me this Saturday." She whispered to my ear. I was numb during that time. Don't know how to react. Yuto's asking her to have a date?

"Hey, Ryo-chan?" She waved her hand in front of my face. "Are you okay?" She asked. I went back to reality and remembered what she said.

"I'm fine. That's nice! Now, you two can have moments together. I'll support you." I said it all. I lied. You're not for him, but for me. I guess, we were just friends. I guess I was wrong for picking that consequence.

"Thanks Ryo-chan!" She hugged me and I patted her back. We went staright homw after that but still... I still can't forget what she said, that Yuto and her will have a date. and it's this coming Saturday. Just two days before my birthday. I lay down on my bed, stared at he ceiling then, finally, fallen asleep.
