As soon as practice was over I made a bee line for the Jeep. "Stilinski! Where do you think you're going? You're in charge of equipment since you apparently had something better to do than practice yesterday." Coach yelled from the field. "Coach I really need to go. Like now. Like right now." I started to back up towards the door of the Jeep. "Stilinski does it look like I care. Get you butt over here and take care of the equipment. Now!" I let out a loud groan and made my way back to the field.
After finally getting all the equipment put up I rushed home to check on Chris. There was only one problem with my plan though. She wasn't there. I went into full panic mode. I pulled out my phone and called Scott. "Scott she's gone man. She's gone. I came home and she wasn't here." I was pacing across her bedroom floor and I was having trouble breathing. "Stiles it's going to be okay." You could hear him messing with stuff in his room through the phone. "Okay! How is it going to be okay Scott, my girlfriend is MIA! This morning she wasn't even responsive!" He let out a long sigh. "Listen Stiles, buddy, maybe we should just let her get this all out of her system and deal with it in her own way, and when she's done she'll come home." I couldn't believe what he was saying right now. "No Scott you listen. My girlfriend is missing and is alone in a world where anything could be out to kill her. I'm not going to sit around why she could be hurt. If you won't help me I'll do it on my own." Hanging up the phone I threw it across the room. I slid down the wall with my head in my hands. I have to find her.

I had to get out of there, not just the house but the whole town. Not forever but just for now. "Here, but if your uncles ask I had nothing to do with your underage drinking." I was pulled out of my thoughts by a beer bottle being placed on the table in front of me. I looked up at the guy standing next to me, Matt. His family is in hunting too. He's tall with long blonde hair and gorgeous green eyes. He's no Stiles though. "Want to tell me why I had to drive you all the way to go LA?" I had called him to come get me not long after Scott and Stiles left. "I know this is hard for you to talk about but do you remember how your dad was after what happened with your mom?" I could tell it hurt him to think about it. "Yeah, we said we would never get like that." Matt's mother was killed by vampires. After that his dad went crazy and brutally slayed many vampires. "That's the thing, I got that bad." The look on his face was one of surprise. "Oh God, Chris are you okay?" He moved over to my side of the table and put his arm around me. He sat and held me while I cried. After his dad went crazy my uncles helped him out he was like a brother to me. When I had calmed down Matt stood up and held his hand out to me. "You can't run away from this." I knew he was right but I couldn't bring myself to say it. "Your friends are probably worried. Not to mention your uncles, and if they find out you're with me they will skin me alive. Literally." I let out a chuckle. "There you go. Now come on." With that we walked out and headed back to Beacon Hills.
